This is a great place to grab lunch or dinner. Plenty of street parking and a parking garage close by. The pizza is all hand tossed and baked in brick oven 12″ Neapolitan style that serves 1 – 2. The shroom pizza is to die for, fontina, hand stretched mozzarella, roasted mushrooms and leeks. Second favorite is the tenderloin, it’s this perfect combo of fontina, mozzarella, Rosemary, La Quercia Lomo and what brings it all together is a soft egg, it’s a match made in heaven. Also try the pepperoni with the fennel sausage, you won’t be disappointed. They have a pretty good selections of pizzas and salads. They have 4 beers on tap and a selection of bottle beers. You will also find a pretty neat little coffee shop inside the restaurant, dogwood coffee. I am a fan of the pour over my favorite is Colombia, they will rotate with season but usually have 3 to pick from. They offer cold brew, Chemex, nice selection of tea, the vanilla bean latte is fantastic, they make the simple syrup with fresh vanilla bean. Also a pretty great selection of gelato. Check out the website to find out what’s coming. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. They do have a loyalty program so make sure you ask them about it. That’s all folks. Go and check out this restaurant.

This is among my favorites. Early morning? Stop by for an exquisite pour-over of one of their rotating single-origen offerings. Treat yourself to a cold brew. Have your mind blown by chemex for the first(or fiftieth) time. Really whatever you crave, Fireflour may become your coffee dujour. Don’t worry, either, because the pretentiousness that you’d expect from any major city inspired coffee house is noticeably and thankfully absent from this space. You’ll notice this immediately, because someone, if not everyone, who is working will greet you. They’ll make helpful suggestions if you need guidance, and they’ll always engage you, sharing a distinct passion for the products they inspire to create. Pizza, the best! Thinly rolled crust is what you’ll find. Adorned with the most delicious, well-seasoned and complimentary ingredients. Made by hand while you watch, your pizza will be slid into their searingly hot wood fired pizza oven… the heat will kiss and blister that wonderful dough, imparting a smokiness and flavor complexity that you didn’t know you needed. Pair it with a seasonal Laughing Sun brew, and your night will have hit it’s mark. If this pizza doesn’t make your tastebuds sing, it’s because long ago they all withered and died.

This place is quite epic! If you live in Bismarck you are lucky to have this establishment, if you do not then you need to make it a stop on the way through. I ordered a slow pour«chemex» coffee and their coffee selection were amazing(that’s right you need a good bean to still have a good slow pour). The pizza is certainly unique and delicious. The crust is light and crisp with enough char to say«I’m cooked in a real pizza oven!». I ordered the Duke and it was above my expectations. They are about to celebrate 3 yrs and I hope to see them celebrate many more.

Stopped in here on my husband and I’s second day in Bismarck. Right in the heart of downtown, we splurged on the Artemis pizza topped with succulent venison, figs, goat cheese, and red onions. A tantalizing, fresh, hearty wood-fired pizza. Didn’t try their artisan coffee, but sipped on a cup of Harney & Sons green tea. Server was very attentive, friendly, welcoming us to the area. Husband had bottled winter white ale. Be aware you’ll pay a 9.5 percent alcohol consumption tax on top of the 7.5 sales tax.

A definite visit every year when I’m in the Dakotas! Awesome eating atmosphere with good service and kiiller food. The coffee is the best and if you’re into the single size pizzas, you’ll be in heaven here. Not much I can recommend changing here — have eaten in and carried out and once when I carried out none of my pizza made it home … cause i ate every slice on the way!

The pizza was great! No grease on the amazing crust. Awesome atmosphere! A must stop for Bismark! Coffee looked good, but I didn’t have any.

Pizza crust was delicious however very skimpy on toppings. Menu items seemed overpriced for what you get. For example: $ 2.75 for 12oz bottle of coke with no refill! Probably will not go back.

This is a great addition to Bismarck! I always WANT to eat here, as opposed to «Where should we eat tonight?» «I don’t know, I really don’t care, XYZ might be OK.» I always get the Umbria or the Americano, because both pizzas have this delicious housemade fennel sausage that I adore. Fireflour has a keen sense of what seasonings work together and the crust is crispy, thin, and done Neapolitan style, correctly. All pizzas are sized for 1 person. I love sitting outside on the little fenced in patio when the weather allows. As the cherry on top, Fireflour has a great beer menu and always has Laughing Sun beer(next door!) on tap.

Oh so good. Great for Bismarck ND. I can’t remember what it’s called but I always get the one with prosciutto and arugula. Delicious. I just wish I could pick it up without it flopping over :(

Who would have thought that one of the best pizzas that I’ve ever had will be here… Oddly enough I stayed a night in Bismarck omw to Fargo, so having some not such great experiences on the road, I thought pizza would be a safe play. But nothing prepared me to this: after the first bite I almost lost it! I couldn’t get what makes there pizza so so good, Confused and shocked I ordered 2 more pizzas to make sure that it wasn’t an anomaly… I can fairly say the following: Sometimes life takes you places; and sometimes places make your life! And boy did this place deliver… I got the Duke and replaced the sausage with pepperoni, and the tenderloin. I also got the chocolate Gelato that had a coffee note in it, that made the taste so much better.

Seriously one of the best pizza I have ever had! The price is great but mostly the quality is phenomenal, a must have if you are in Bismarck!

Still love it, been here plenty of times. Never disappointed. I keep coming back for more and more pizza. I pass this town for work and I stop to eat here most often

My first impression is that I like this place — it’s tucked away on a side street with surface parking and the interior has a certain updated farm grunge vibe to it. Service was prompt at noon on a week day and girlfriend and I were seated immediately. Our waitress was attentive and quite helpful, providing guidance on their extensive coffee menu and generally giving us time to sort through their eclectic pizza selection. We settled on splitting a Heritage to go with our tasty iced lattes and it was about what I expected — 12″, 6 pieces and nicely flavorful, albeit a bit oilier than I’d prefer. Service was prompt throughout the meal as well. Their gelato and pastry selection was delightful as well, leaving us with plenty to explore if we make a return trip.

Delicious. I got the Iowa with chili oil and gelato. The gelato flavors of the day included olive oil which I obviously had to try. It was very good as was the salted caramel. I got takeout but the ambiance was nice and it seemed to be a pretty popular place. Overall, tasty, interesting food for a reasonable price.

I really like it when an establishment rolls il the dice on a single meal menu. Fireflour known for it zealous creativity in the art of pizza, threw it all out for one evening. The flat creations went flying as a pile of juicy wood smoked pulled pork subverted the tastebuds of regulars. Actually I saw a few pizza locals turn right around when it was said that Monday was a singular prix fixe menu. Sorry Flat Earther. You lost again! Buttermilk mashed potatoes, tangy peppery coleslaw, local bread and a chaser of apple ginger Kuchen made this a one-stop no brainer. Perfect tender pork with that great candy char. I got half way through it before I realized I haven’t add any of the honey mustard sauce. Once on, it was a prison meal, no one is getting any of this from me!!! The chef took a spin on apple ginger Kuche with a custard version. This one certainly marched to it’s own tune of tasty desserts. Apple slices on top cleverly hid what seemed a tres leches cake from a Mexican panaderia.

What a funky little place! Super cool staff tossin dough right behind the counter, crazy music in the background(Prodigy to Sublime to Dr. Dre?!) and really fun menu. We split three twelve inch pizzas between three of us and only had a few pieces left. We started with the olives — pit-in and soaked in Rosemary infused olive oil — HOLYCROW so good. I got the beer sampler which contained some very tasty IPA’s. As far as the pizza was concerned — it was fresh and really true to the photos other Unilocalers have posted. We ended with dessert — cookies were delicious, cinnamon gelato was on point — and if I could steer you towards any one choice, it would be the espresso soaked gelato. Just do it! I continue to be surprised and the quality and variety available every time I visit Bismarck. Big town tastes with small town prices and hospitality.

Ambiance of the place was more metro Italy than the art of the pizza. Service was lackluster. Server didn’t seem too excited to be working on this night. No smile, no energy and no will to be of assistance. Dough was a nice fluffy and light consistency. Cooked to perfection with hardly no burns at all. Mozzarella was not up to par. They need to work on their cheese quality and thickness. Pepperoni and sausage were nicely cut and flavorful, but lack of cheese quality made this pie a 7⁄10. I’ll come back when in ND again on my travels, but I’ve got to see what else is here. Put this place on the calendar for a good pie, but it’s not quite Italy both in taste and splendor. They still get 4 stars for trying and doing a decent job.

Finally made it here for pizza! Yay! It just happened to be the perfect day to sit outside. Actually, this place is lucky and so are the patrons that like outdoor dining. The outdoor dining is in the shade in the evening! Well, this is perfect for me. Others may like to fry in the sun while enjoying their pizza, but not me. It was a warm day, but in the shade and with a great breeze, sitting outside was perfect. I ordered the Shroom pizza. It was amazing. Great, thin crust… the kind that, even though there are pieces with no pizza toppings, you know… the crust, I eat them anyway. The pizza was juicy, which was odd, but a very pleasant surprise. It wasn’t saucy, it was juicy. I am not sure what it was… was it the melted leeks? Was it the la quercia speck? The WHAT??? I know, right? I had to Google it. Here you go… Speck, a lesser-known variation of prosciutto, is a sweet meat, deep, rich and earthy in texture with a distinct but light applewood-smoked flavor and aroma. Since I didn’t know la quercia speck, I wasn’t expecting meat on my Shroom pizza. It was a yummy surprise. It definitely elevated the flavor of the pizza to something special, unexpected and out of the ordinary. They have gelato for dessert. The flavors all sounded so good, I asked which was the house favorite. Salted Caramel was the answer. It was a tiny serving, but the texture was perfect… just beginning to melt. The salted caramel was definitely salty. It was good, but next time I’m going to try a different flavor. When I’m in Bismarck I stay right around the corner, so I will be back to try some of the other tempting pizza combinations.

Oh man… …this place. Mind blowing variety of pizzas to choose from –each crafted from a curiously mouth watering combination of different sauces, toppings from every corner of the earth, and cooked to perfection in a stone pizza oven. Combined with quality service, a huge selection of craft beers, and attached it to a hip coffee joint serving cold brew, with a freezer full of gelato… I really don’t know what else a pizza-craving gastronome could ever want?

I was surprised to find this place in Bismarck, of all places. It reminded me of my time spent at the Mediterranean coast of France and Italy. The pizza was perfectly made and the customer service was very friendly. I wished they had that spicy olive oil to drizzle on my pizza. I was the only one in the restaurant so I had a good conversation about how the concept of this place came to life. I ordered an Affogato from them for a dessert — espresso over gelato. I usually recommend this place when my colleagues travel to the area. In a way, I’m promoting good business to this restaurant and I’m happy to do provide! :)
