The food here was amazing! Try the chicken pot pie it was one of the best chicken pot pie I’ve had in my 28 years of life. Bar is unique. The bartender was very friendly. Make sure to make this part of your trip to Bisbee.

Always a fun spot. The cheap beers are reasonably cheap, the food is delicious and the staff is awesome. I’d imagine if I came when an event was transporting I’d give it it a 6star for Bisbee ambiance.

This place has best Gouda Mac and cheese!!! My friends and I stopped for dinner on Tuesday night. It was pretty empty so we were skeptical at first. Once inside, we sat down and placed our order. I had the chicken salad sandwich(awesome), and my friends has the portobello wrap and Quarry burger. The fries were nothing special but the ketchup was homemade. This is a great farm to table joint. It took a little while to get our food. The chef makes everything fresh and from scratch. She uses all local vendors and tries to get the freshest meats and ingredients. The décor is very Bisbee. It’s not very well lit, and tables are poorly arranged. This place is also a live music joint. Visiting on the weekend for dinner may be a safer bet.

We had the Cobb salad, Mac and cheese, burger and blt. It was all really incredible food. The place was surprisingly empty for a Friday night but the service was excellent and food was incredible. My husband said it was the best burger he’d ever had. All the food was fresh and really tasty. Wine was great(Coppola Rosso) and relatively cheap! $ 6

We really enjoyed this place; we wanted a place that locals enjoyed since we came in from Tucson and had never been here before. We stayed at the Copper Queen Hotel and two employees recommended it with rave reviews about how everything is homemade and non-gmo. When we first arrived it was semi-early and there weren’t many people. But soon after it got busier. We sat at the bar and the bartender was awesome; super funny, personable and gave us recommendations– as did some local peeps sitting next to us at the bar. The crudité was great, and the fries… Probably some of the best fries I’ve had at a bar/restaurant in a long long time. And their homemade ranch and ketchup was amazing! I want bottles of that stuff! Not to mention I got –the famously recommended– meatloaf sandwich that had the ranch on it. How I have never thought to do a sandwich like this before is beyond me! What a great concept and mix of flavor. Well everyone there was pretty much stellar, and the vibe was simple, easy going and comfortable. Would love to come back on our next trip.

Stopped in for a late breakfast before the Mariachi Festival. Eggs Benedict were OUTstanding. Flavorful, unique, perfectly cooked and presented. The Bloody Mary was insanely tasty, too. Cannot wait for our next visit to check out more of the offerings. Staff was super-attentive without being«in yo face» … couldn’t ask for better.

In theory I wanted to love this place. Anywhere that is «adamantly non gmo and pro whole foods» is definitely for me. So we were excited to go. The staff was very friendly, but I was disappointed with what I hoped it would be. They were out of almost everything including beer and spirits. I got my second choice meal(because they hadn’t made my first choice) which was meh. The plates were too small for the food so I lost some to the table. I think it may be a great place when it’s fully functional, but that it was not for us

We live part time in Bisbee & when we’re away, I find myself craving Dana’s fabulous meatloaf with mushroom gravy & Anastacia’s killer Bloody Marys! We were sitting with a couple new to Bisbee recently, & one of them ordered the meatloaf. I wish I could adequately express his reaction after his 1st bite! The words shock & bliss come to mind. Everything on the menu is a taste treat! The music is diverse & always top notch. The Quarry is a place not to be missed on anyone’s trip to Bisbee!

I love this place. First of all, it’s a great spot to grab a cold one and hang out. Second, they have some great live music all the time. Finally, their food is fantastic. If you go for the food, you gotta try the meatloaf, I’m serious. Trust me! But if you’re not into that — then just about anything on the menu is stellar. I love going to Bisbee and when I’m there I love going to the Quarry. Check it out!

I second Shira J’s review… We came in a little after 7. The owner was obviously wasted, and we were not informed that most of the condiments/parts of dishes were not available before we ordered. The place was empty, and we should have known better. Most of the reviews on here must be from friends of the owner. Also note that the owner told my friends that those that use Unilocal are imbeciles. She also cursed and said that«I’m not trying to be a fucking Applebee’s.» Bad business practices… And to note this discussion with the owner was unprovoked while my friends were waiting to use the bathroom. It’s just a dive bar with drunk food: No ranch for the Zacatecas No dressing for the wedge salad The chicken pot pies were served luke warm and without chicken The meat had zero seasoning The ambiance was weird and there was zero music… What is this place? As a bar with live music I bet it’s a decent local haunt but just don’t serve food if you don’t want to be a «fucking Applebee’s.»

Gross. Just don’t. Go anywhere else in town. Please. The only thing that was any good was the bottles beer and their house-made ketchup. The owner was also super rude/pretty wasted when they were there. There was something very wrong with everyone’s meal(8 people). Seriously– go anywhere else!

Bisbee has seen a resurgence over the last few years. Store fronts that have been closed for decades are suddenly filled with life as new businesses appear. Brewery Gulch used to be known for St. Elmo’s Bar and that’s it. Not the most inviting bar in the zip code, even though I’ve always thought it was cool. I’ve often seen tourists take one look and beat feet the other way. But then came Santiagos, which invited people to peek around the corner. Then the Olive Oil Company drew people further down the street. And then the Bisbee Brewery invited folks to come all the way in and see that life ain’t at all bad in The Gulch. And now we have The Quarry. Billed as a Gastropub you just know I had to try it. Now there’s one thing we need to get straight right away. The Quarry also hosts a lot of bands. So when you get inside you’ll see a big open space in the floor and no tables and it will make you wonder. Even as I sat waiting for my dinner sipping a chardonnay, I saw two tourist families come in, scratch their heads, and leave. Well, it was their loss for sure. We were there about 5PM for an early dinner. There wasn’t a band at that time. I’m a big fan of meatloaf. I don’t cook it at home because we try and eat healthy and let’s not kid ourselves. There’s little to be said about the healthy factors of meatloaf. It’s an indulgence. Dana House(chef and owner) makes it fresh every day and it came right out of the oven when I ordered it. But wait… there’s more! I just didn’t just order plain meatloaf. No. I ordered Zacatecas, which evidently is this wonderful merging of a grilled cheese and meatloaf sandwich with bacon. Incredible. Easily tied for the best meatloaf I’ve ever eaten. My wife had the Chicken Pot Pie which was also made fresh along with a fresh out of the oven biscuit on top. Again, this is easily tied for the best chicken pot pie we’ve ever had. We also had a house salad which could rival many restaurants specialty salads. So the food was incredible. The service was terrific too, but you have to realize that this is Bisbee. They keep it weird and they move at their own pace. It’s one of the town’s charms. I’m sure someone from the East Coast might get frustrated, but chill… you’re on vacation. There’s no rush. Note that the sandwiches come by themselves so you might want to order fries or a salad a la cart.

This place is not my favorite Bisbee food spot, the service is spotty and the Unilocal deal did not include alcohol, I wish that was written in large letters because then we would not have purchased it. The food was good but everything just seemed slightly«off». Because we had the Unilocal deal purchased for $ 30 of food for $ 20, we ended up ordering a lot of little things. The fries plate was very large and they had a nice saltiness to them, but they were flimsy not crispy and there was a spice added that I couldn’t place… These were ok. The meatloaf and bacon grilled cheese was super greasy, the tomato bisque had too much tang and the Mac and cheese made with Gouda was interesting but I wouldn’t order it again. Next time I will skip this little place or just got for music and drinks.

Nothing says ‚“Fun Night In Bisbee” like a night of nibbles and drinks with some great loud music. The quintessential cool Gastropub with an all are welcome and yet kinda anything goes vibe. Totally Bisbee! Love this place!

Excellent, homemade cuisine and a pretty extensive list of craft beer and craft cocktails puts this place high up on my list next time I’m back in Bisbee. Friend and I took a motorcycle ride down on our day off recently and being it was the middle of the day on a weekday, everywhere was pretty dead. I’m definitely okay with this. I’ve been to a couple places in downtown Bisbee and have never been all that impressed with anything down there, especially for the money. That all changed with the Quarry. The good: –Everything is fresh and homemade! From the meats for the sandwiches, to the crust for the pot pies, it was all delicious. –The Zacatecas — must have sandwich from the Quarry. Grilled cheese. + bacon. + delicious homemade meatloaf. + a fabulous 3 cheese blend = one of the best grilled cheeses I’ve ever had. –The tomato soup — I’m not usually a fan of tomato soup but this stuff was excellent. Clearly homemade with a very distinct spice mix and fresh bread crumbs on top. Dipping the grilled cheese in such a perfect soup seemed almost a sin. –The beer list: One of the best I’ve seen around town in terms of out-of-town beers. Definitely a good selection. –The cocktail list: I’m sad we had to drive back so soon because I would have otherwise tried some of the mixes posted up on their cocktail board. Looked like some pretty creative, tasty stuff. I’ll be back! –The staff were really friendly and flexible, letting us take everything to go so we could eat outside in the park. The bad: –Nothing bad in my experience. Everything was fresh, well-made, and delicious. –I wish this place had some sort of outdoor. something. Balcony, outdoor seating, etc. But its pretty much impossible given their location. Overall I’ll definitely be back to the Quarry, hopefully to try that pot pie and a couple cocktails next time. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for sandwiches/home cooking.

FOOD: 5 Stars SERVICE: 4 Stars AMBIANCE: 2 Stars Upon walking into The Quarry for the first time, I can see what the other Unilocalers say about the décor — it’s the pits! Very blah. Table seating is very strange. Huge square tables that are not two people friendly. I was completely turned off when two other patrons had their two huge dogs at the table they were eating at. We opted to sit by the window only to be startled now and then by a bug being zapped in the bug zapper behind our booth. There are so many flies in this establishment. It’s pretty gross. HOWEVER…the food is really good. We started out with a House Martini and really enjoyed it. A bit pricey at $ 8 each for Bisbee. I had the grilled cheese and homemade fries and my husband had the meatloaf sandwich. He loved it and reluctantly shared a bite and I wished I gotten that instead of the grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was good, typical sliced bread and the cheeses were tasty, but nothing to write home about. The fries were perfect and the homemade ketchup is really thick and tasty. The bill with the two drinks came to almost $ 40 which, again, I thought was a bit pricey. The service was good. They kept checking up on us and I can tell the chef really takes pride in their food. So if you can get past the décor, the flies, personal pets, dreadlocks and punk rock, it’s worth a try for some homemade cooked-from-scratch food in Bisbee.

Finally! A bar for the under 40 crowd in Bisbee! Good drinks, quality late night appetizers and punk rock! If only I weren’t so close to being 40…

The space may not be much to look at but the staff seem to all be preternaturally pretty and the food is surprisingly good. The menu is short and comprises all comfort food, all the time. Meatloaf, pot pie, that sort of thing. However, it is done in a lovely way, not greasy or sloppy. Portions are generous. Breakfast is also served all day. My(local) friends ordered hot chocolate, which wasn’t on the menu, but it was extremely high quality stuff. Actually, it might have just been a bar of chocolate melted into a cup. VERY rich. I had an omelet, which was a bit smaller than I expected. The cheese and avocado were both of good quality; the egg was thick and solid. The home fries were really cooked to perfection. I thought they were oversalted, but, as the omelet was undersalted, I just ate the 2 things together and had the perfect amount of season in each bite. Everyone enjoyed the meal vastly. It was a great choice for New Year’s Eve because we didn’t have to wait for a table; food came out really fast.
