The UPS Store

Don’t use this store. The clerk totally took advantage of my in-​laws. I sent them to ship 3 packages for me — he charged $ 124. Two of the packages were large, so I expected the postage to be high — but not $ 45+ per package! He overcharged on everything. He weighed the packages incorrectly and charged a $ 12.80 fee on all 3 packages. The only credit I can give him is that after I called and pitched a fit he agreed to return the packages and give us a refund. Of course before that he said, «You can’t expect me to sort through the packages and find those,» yet he knew exactly which packages I was referring to. I took the packages to another UPS in Hoover and they were all overcharged and weighed incorrectly. The clerk at that store had no idea where the $ 12.80 charge was coming from on each item. Also, he charged over $ 35 for a lightweight poster (including that $ 12.80 fee). The receipt showed the poster weighed 6 lbs. At the second store it was only 1 lb!!! At that store the postage was only going to be $ 16.00 to ship. It was all still more than I wanted to pay so I took my packages to USPS instead (paid $ 59.00 for all three including insurance and tracking). I will never step foot inside this store again.
