Peabody’s Dining & Spirits

I’ve have a great experience everytime I’ve gone to Peabody’s. I love the ambiance of the place, it reminds me of a few restaurants in northern Michigan.
The food is outstanding, mostly due to the fact that the ingredients are fresh. I would recommend the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer but it does pack some heat but the cream sauce balances out the heat but gives a touch of sweetness to counter. By far the best dish is the canberry sage chicken. Just had it last week and the combination with the butternut squash ravioli is divine. The cranberries keep the dish feeling light with the tart flavor. I haven’t been disappointed with the entrée whenever I order it.
Finally, the staff from the hostess to the ownership is the best around. They definitely treat you like family and are very pleasant. It’s the quality of service that puts this restaurant over the top, making it one of the gems in Birmingham.
