Main Street Florist

My wife had a miscarriage, so my son and I stopped in to get some flowers to help brighten her day. I asked the ladies in the store if they had a bunch of mixed flowers for sale. I was asked if it was needed same day. I responded yes and was told they had no flowers. How does a flower shop have no flowers for sale? I will never step into this store again.

I placed a small order the last week of June for a baby shower that was held on sunday July 5^th. The lady wrote the order down on a scrap piece of paper for me to pick up the flowers on July 3^rd. I called on July 2^nd to make sure the flowers came in and the voicemail said they were closed for the Holiday and not reopening until Monday July 6^th!!! They didn’t call me or tell me they were going to be closed… so with it being a holiday weekend I had to scramble to find flowers. Granted it was a small order but I am still a customer. I left them a detailed voice mail asking them to call me back and NOTHING… No call back at all!

If I could give a negative star I would. My guy ordered flowers online through a service and they were supposed to be delivered on Mon. I get a call Tues afternoon and I said I would not be home until late – could you please deliver them to my neighbor on Wed any time until lunch. Well I get a call on Wed afternoon stating that they had left the flowers outside in the 90 degree heat and that they would be ok for an hour or so. I was still at work for like 3 hours! When I told the lady this she got an attitude with me. I had to find a neighbor who was at home to get them out of the heat. When I got the flowers they were not nice at all. A tacky cheap vase with pale colored flowers and there was mold and dirt at the bottom of this tacky round vase. The guy had ordered a long heavy glass vase with all kinds of purple flowers what I got was a pale pink and blue load of yucky flowers that looked like what you would send to an 80 year old woman who collects wood ducks. I even emailed the florist to tell them how upset I was and that the guy deserved a refund. A week later they never responded via email or phone. Real professional. When I mentioned this to my fellow neighbors none of stated that they used this florist. Now I know why. Avoid at all costs.

I’m going all in with five stars because there are lots of things that put Main Street Florist «over the top». My favorite place EVAH for flowers in the Ham — Both ordering and receiving. I’m always a happy girl when I see Miss Q at my door w a beautiful bunch from Main Street Florist!
I am lucky that I live in MT Laurel … ’cause when people want to send me flowers (just in case anyone out there is really reading this!), they look at the closest thing to my house which happens to be Main Street. I am a fanatic when it comes to flowers. I want mine perfect, and, while there is a lot of «perfection» with flowers in other big cities, there is nothing like MSF here in the Ham. The flowers are fresh, and different, and always bundled up nicely, not in some random «florist» vase that nobody wants to re-​use — but has 15 of in their bottom kitchen cabinet — yah — you know the ones. These vessels are well thought out and creatively decorated (like pretty short squares with banana plant-​like leaves encasing the beautiful arrangement). The presentation is always perfect.
I have had Main Street do many a soirée for me as well. From very, very elegant to «farmer’s market» chic! Main Street is also the place to go for holiday arrangements, wreaths, plants, etc — and the owner is more than happy to come do an installment of fresh, beautiful Christmas-​y arrangements /​decorations for you.
On the «OTHERS» list:
— They do neat kid-​friendly birthday stuff — invites, decorations, etc.
— They have a wonderful collection of candles (all the great names)
— They have gorgeous picture frames and other nice gifts
While you can drop a pretty penny in this place, it’s well worth it. And the customer service is superb.

They have great outdoor arrangements ready to go home if you can not fin the time to do it yourself. The prices are high but still reasonable and worth what you get.
