I had, and am still having, a terrible experience with this place. The staff and nurses were rude, I had to ask twice what all procedure were going to be done, and the nurse still wouldn’t tell me. As the patient, I shouldn’t have had to ask in the first place! They have still not given me my results; I’ve been calling for days and no one knows/wants to look them up for me. Bottom line, horrible experience. Changing doctors immediately.

I was a patient here almost a decade ago. I was new to Birmingham, so I picked this place because my mom was a patient. Horrible. The experience with Henderson & Walton taught me that just because a gyno is female does not mean she’s sympathetic to women. I don’t like to cuss on Unilocal, but if it were approperiate, I’d called her a couple words. The nurse and doctor were both rude, ugly and were so without reason. I was all of 25 years old; you don’t try to talk a 25 year old into having a baby when she’s putting herself through graduate school. Seriously. I went to renew my prescription for birthcontrol, and the you-know-whats went all third world on me. But, look at which hospital they’re affiliated with. Hmmm… Holiday season 2011, my mother is still using this clinic.(Needless to say, they lost me as a patient years ago.) This was the last time for her. My mother is a cancer survivor; her mammogram that revealed a spot, so they did an ultrasound. They promised to call, as such offices do. Well, two weeks go by without a word. After a couple attempts to have her calls returned, my mother finally receives an answer. It’s just a cyst. When my mother questioned why her results were not given the first week, the reply: «Well, there’s nothing to worry about. It’s just a cyst.» These people didn’t bother calling my mother when her results were in. Then they took their time returning her calls. Tacky work ethic is an understatement. They almost had my mother waiting until the new year just to hear that it wasn’t cancer.
