Guthries Chicken Fingers UAB

Friendly service, crispy fries, great chicken fingers. But charge me 50 cents more for 2 tablespoons of sauce when I bought 5 chicken fingers? Really.

I admit it; I love Gutherie’s! Those perfectly fried chicken fingers and sauce… Yummy. I can’t remember the first time I ate Gutherie’s but I certainly remember the last time. Again at UAB where they may know my name and preference for no slaw extra sauce, was outstanding. The food is hot, fresh and quick, which is needed when you’re at work. Can’t wait to indulge again. :)

Finally tried the wings here. I got lemon pepper but other flavors are available. It came with celery & ranch plus fries & drink if you go with the combo. I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were! My bad for waiting so long to try some. Solid place gets better adding 1 star to my previous review.

We are having a cocktail party and searched for the best chicken fingers in town. We tried 6 different places. Guthries won hands down. They are especially good for a party because they are not too large. There is only one location in Birmingham and it is in UAB. This is not the most convieient location unless you work around UAB. The parking is not great. But if you are looking fir a great chicken finger that is a good size for a party this is the place! Service is great and the employees are very nice and professional. Everyone at the party loved the chicken fingers. I do want to add that ChicFilet also has delicious chicken fingers, just too large for party pickup.

Great fast Food! was visiting UAB hospital, and needed food. I ordered Chicken finger salad, which had fresh lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, redpeppers, and red onions (my favorite). The chicken tenders were served on the side so that it didnt wilt the lettuce, and they were very good! The price of the menu was really good, not over priced as the deli restaurant which is located a few doors down were. Everything is made in house fresh!

Being an Auburn graduate, I’m a bit biased when it comes to Guthrie’s; it was the cheap college student hangout of choice during my years there. Despite that, though, I think the franchise makes some of the best chicken fingers around; and this location is a great source of that tasty. Located pretty close to UAB hospital, it’s a welcome savior to hospital staff, visitors, UAB students, and most likely ex-​patients wanting to get away from unrecognizable tray food. :) During my visit, the staff at Guthrie’s was very polite and accommodating, the restaurant clean, and the food fresh and hot. A 100 health score rode the wall and there was every indication it was well-​deserved and well-​earned. All in all, definitely a worthy choice for a delicious nom-​spot.
So, if you’re ever in the mood for chicken fingers, this is a great place to satisfy that fix. Give it a try — it’s classic.
