Very clean and simple super market. The meat section is very clean and has a lot of options. I love this place.

What a cool little market! We went here initially to find some interesting and unusual meat to throw on the smoker. While there was nothing too outlandish, there were some delicious options. I left with two huge racks of ribs, a couple of pounds of pork feet, and a long length of chorizo. While it was all good, the chorizo was my favorite. Everyone working here was very polite and helpful. There was definitely a language barrier, but it didn’t negatively effect my shopping experience at all. Aside from the extensive meat options, you can get all of the other grocery store necessities as well. Muy bueno, El Mercado.

Love this shop. All kinds of interesting meats and spices(chicken feet, achiotte paste, epazote). House made tamales, Pico de gallo, chorizo and chicharrones. Their limes vary in price by season(and during lime-pacolypse)… but right now they are 10 for $ 1! They also have chayote squash, papayas and a few other exotic options in produce. The churros in the bakery section are really good as well. You will need to Google a lot of the stuff here if you don’t speak spanish. Most of the staff can’t help with translation, but they have all been really welcoming and gracious. This is definitely my favorite spot in the hoover area to stock up for taco night… $.10 limes!
