Anthropologie

This is by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced in a store. I came in around lunch time hoping to get some new pieces for my spring wardrobe and after having a few dresses on my arm there was no one who could ask me if I wanted to start a dressing room. The staff was absolutely clueless about the products that they’re actually selling (material, style, pieces nd accessories to coordinate them with), and seemed bitter and angry aboutgetting more people in the store. There was a tense environment about the sfatt and an older lady who I was unfortunate enough to get to «help me» but clearly had no training in customer service, especially for dresses that retail for hundreds of dollars.
I ended up getting one lovely dress, which was a bit over $ 200 and the bitter saleswoman dared asked me: «is that all you’re getting»? I’m sorry now I even bought anything! I love Anthropologie and adore the bohemian look. I’ve been to many of their stores in the northeast (Boston, Manhattan, etc.) and truly… I don’t intend to ever go back to this store.

I adore the Anthropologie look, but not this particular branch. I find myself longing for the Philly branch, which I believe is the parent store. Birmingham’s Anthropologie lacks the huge clearance room that the other branches have. (Huntsville has a lovely store.) Also, the sales are not that fantastic at this location. They supposedly mark-​down every Monday, but it doesn’t show. This store is small and not really that friendly. Personally, I prefer online shopping or checking out other Anthro branches when traveling.

I love this store in all its iterations and locations. LOVE.

I can’t sing enough praises for the freaking wonderful service you get as a shopper in the South! Shopping at establishments such as this outlet of Anthro has completely soured me on shopping at the much larger, much colder San Francisco branch, located an easy three blocks from my condo.
This Anthro also has way better sales and a lot more sizes in my range (2 – 4) than the SF shop. The sales associates are exactly what sales associates should be: helpful, friendly, and pleasant to work with. Perhaps some of the girls from the Birmingham Anthro can come do a training at the SF store and schoole the sales girls over here on how to behave with potential customers.
And did I mention the amazing mark-​downs on sale items?!? Unbelievable.

This store is my obsession. Beautiful clothes and home goods. I do a lot of my Christmas shopping here. Highly recommend for statement pieces!

Amazing! I love this place. Great clothes and fun jewelry. I love their home goods and they can have some pretty good sales too! But not too often so be prepared to drop a few bills!
