I needed a place at 3am. I got very helpful service from most of the staff I encountered. I hung out in the lobby with they’re pet dessert dragon watched TV had coffee. I agree it’s very serial killer horror movie ambiance in the rooms but I am satisfied with my experience. I needed a place to stay that wasn’t the street and this turned out to be just fine. Not for vacation but is fine.

It was hard for me to even give this motel 1 star. I can’t describe this dump. I can’t believe they can even stay open. Will never go back and if I wouldn’t have had unpacked and had animals, I would have left. They need to clean the insides of these rooms and buy new curtains and lampshades. Amongst a lot of other things.

This is the worst hotel/motel/inn/etc I have ever experienced. We were lured in by the price, but it was so not worth it. We had to be let into the room because they did not have any keys. We did not think this would be a problem, but we realized that it was really inconvenient. My sister and I were on a cross-country road trip and had left stuff in the car. Only one of us could leave the room at a time or we would get looked out. This was worrisome since it seemed like a pretty shady area with pretty shady ppl staying there. There were at least 5 police cars ½ a block away. Also, the back door to the hotel did not latch so anyone could wander in at any time of the day or night. There were security cameras, but I don’t think they do much good. The room was in pretty sad shape. It smelled super smokey(our suitcases still smelled like smoke when we left just 10hrs later). Just like the carpets and walls in the hallway, there were stains on everything(lampshades, sheets, carpets, towels, tub). Two of the lightbulbs in the room didn’t work. The«view» was of the«pool»(see picture). It looks like it used to be a Holiday Inn and it has since been purchased by America’s «Best» Value. There is no longer a restaurant, meeting rooms, a pool, etc. They are all boarded up which makes for a strange experience walking through the hallways. There is supposed to be WiFi but it only works in the«lobby», which has no place to sit. Also, as I mentioned above, it would have been inconvenient to go down there since we did not have a room key, and it was not the type of place I would want to hang out given the type of people passing though there. While my sister and I were trying to get across country for as little money as possible since we are both on student budgets, in hind sight, this was not at all worth it.

Okay, I don’t know why Motel 6 charges less but has clean rooms. I had to air out the room I stayed in before closing the door. Pulled back the bed sheet and a roach crawled out. Caveat emptor. It’s cheap, but I think it’s worth splurging a bit just to have a clean room.

OK — it’s cheap and if you need a bed/bath — that’s what you get. Not anything close to luxury and smells bad. Free WiFi worked well — TV worked well — limited channels. BUT — I had an early flight and was not called as promised when the cab arrived. I was unable to get anyone to answer the front desk phone — nor get anyone to assist me in my last moment panic to get a cab and catch my flight. If you’re on a loose schedule — and need to save $$ — then fine this might work for you.

This hotel was advertised as a three star hotel, but it is definitely in that one star class. The staff was friendly, but there was no helping that it was in a particularly bad neighborhood and the facilities were run down. The hotel was noisy, the bed uncomfortable, and the furnishings old. The cleaning of the room left something to be desired also. The pictures on their web site and on the travel site I bought the room from do NOT match the hotel interior. If you’re looking for a cheap one star hotel, you may very well be happy here. If you’re looking for something inexpensive, clean, safe, and comfortable — this hotel only meets one of the four.
