The location and room are very unique and would be 5 stars. Also I loved the ride they offer for free. An absolute MUST! We could see a lot of AMISH in a short time and enjoyed it very much…
Now to the points that disappointed us:
— the room (#112) was right towards the Main Street and VERY noisy /​loud. Same goes for the fridge in the room.
— the bathroom was not clean /​cleaned. Maybe I’m spoiled but I prefer to not find hair from the previous guests in the shower.
— the room smelled very strange. Not sure what it is but again, maybe I’m just spoiled. With the AC on it was ok but as soon as you turned it off it was there again…
So these points combined with the price payed would be a 2 or 3 stars. The service, location and the uniqueness are 5! So my rating is 4 Stars…

Ginny was absolutely wonderful. She provided great local recommendations. Without her help I wouldn’t have found Tony Wang’s Chinese restaurant and the doll outlet.

I was amazed by the hospitality of these folks. My friend booked three of their four beautiful houses for her wedding guests last weekend. She wanted a place that her guests could feel comfortable hanging out and socializing all weekend. Some guests could only come on Saturday, while other guests were there all weekend so there was some room switching but the front desk catered to the bride’s every request.
Each room has its own bathroom and TV and most (if not all?) have fridges and coffee makers. The rooms are beautifully decorated (for an historical house) and the beds are comfortable. There are common areas for breakfast and socializing. The folks here allowed us to have access to these common rooms all weekend so we could store midnight snacks and have drinks available at all times. She even had their rehearsal dinner in one of these gorgeous rooms.
It really doesn’t get any more down-​homey, friendly, and comfortable than this place. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
