This motel is dated and could use some updates and maintenance, such as painting. Noticed some paint flaking off the window and items like that. Not a big deal, but are things that could help. Even though it is dated it is well kept as far as being clean. Also the front office people were very friendly and helpful. They do offer a free two door bus tour of the local area. I did not take advantage of it since I know the area pretty well anyway. They have a small poll outside, but they allow you to use the pools at the their main hotel which is what we did. Considering the how outdated and how little amenities I think they are a little over priced compared to other motels in the area. Most other motels in the area have two queen beds in their rooms while these have only two full size beds. I usually visit the are at least once a year and due to the price they charge I may or may not stay there again.

Five stars to it as to a motel. It’s more expensive than the nearby motels. But it’s better than some 3– or 4– star suburban hotels. Clean. The location is perfect — in the middle of the Amish village where the farmers market, village shops, delicious restaurants are located. The outdoor little pool is an additional perk. The motel is situated right on the quite active village road. But it’s very quiet at night.
