Buyer beware if you are considering doing business with this Company! I entered into a contract with Pro-guard Roofing & Remodeling of Binghamton, NY to build an addition on my house in Feb 2015 and was told they could start in one week and they said that they had all the required Insurances to proceed. Unfortunately after signing a contract and giving them a sizable down payment I was informed they had no Workman’s Comp or Liability insurance required to pull the permit to start the job. They deceived me to sell me the job and took my sizable down payment for cash flow. The Salesman eventually told me the that Manager was well aware of this situation even as he took my Credit Card down payment. Thankfully I had it on the credit card. I was told the Insurance certs were coming numerous times. Finally I insisted on a refund after being called paranoid by the Company Manager and I got my deposit refunded weeks later. My fault for not sprinting away from this Company. They created a new Company called Virtuoso Remodeling when they finally got the Insurances required. I regrettably signed another contract. Please see review for Virtuoso Remodeling which probably was only set up for my job.
