I like this place. I live close by and I can tell the owners are very dedicated. They have a good selection of wine (especially local wines!) and the prices are reasonable. I feel sort of «at home» when I go here.

Not a wine drinker, but they have a pretty reasonable selection of liquor at good prices. They have several of the more obscure liqueurs, but seem to be missing some of the more common ones. Friendly service.

This place is awesome. For a neighborhood liquor store, it’s completely stacked. There are your typical liquor offerings, liqueurs and cocktail mixes, but there’s also an enormous wine selection, categorized by region. They carry a lot of local wines, which always makes you feel good about supporting NY vineyards. The staff is incredibly very helpful and always offer great recommendations. Finally, you’ll usually find good deals on the larger bottles of liquor and random wine selections as well.

I like this place. Dewars is under $ 30 for a fifth and Jonny Red’s $ 27.
There’s even cheaper liquor to be had by Target behind Vestal parkway, but it’s really only worth it to make the hajj if you’re making punch for 300 people. That calls for Admiral Nelson, Captain Morgan’s ped-​legged cousin and a whole lot of crytal light…

What a great local package store! The interior feels like it’s straight out of 1970-​something, but don’t let that scare you off. There’s a wonderful wine selection, and plenty of liquor. The clientele seemed diverse while I was there: SUNY students shopping for cheap vodka, neighborhood people looking for wine to go with dinner, etc. There was lots to choose from, and at decent prices.

I was in Binghamton and I needed some wine for a party. Unilocal directed me to the Leroy Package Store, which was conveniently nearby. While the interior of this store is antiquated, the offerings are plentiful and the prices are very fair. The cashier I spoke with was friendly and cheerful. I highly recommend this store for those who drink alcohol!

Before I begin the review, I have to admit I have never heard of a liquor store being called a package store. When I first drove by I thought it was a shipping center. I realize the error of my thinking, and for all you crazy folk who think this is grounds for mockery, I just say «step back!»
Onto the review! BEST WINE SELECTION I have ever seen in a neighborhood liquor store. They have at least 100 – 200 different bottles from France alone! Prices range from $ 6.99 (my kinda price) — $ 50+ (oooh, not so much). To be honest, we haven’t even made it out of the french section, so I can’t really comment on the other selections.
I hear that if you buy a dozen bottles you get a 10% discount. I’m not quite there yet, but in a couple of months, who knows…
