Easy access and egress from the motel’s location to I-81, I-88 and I-86; check-in person very helpful and cooperative. She recommended leaving our car with bikes on a carrier by the office where there is 24 hr, surveillance. Room was adequate and clean, bed comfortable, noise from heater/ac loud. Noise from other rooms a bit annoying, but tolerable, if you are a sound sleeper. Hallway carpet clean, if a bit worn, but no rips or lifted corners. Security good, with locking exterior entrance doors which are accessed with the room key card. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but what do you expect for about $ 65/night. Stayed in October, so no comment on the pool.

Clean although dated fixtures carpet and rooms it was clean convenient and right off the highway… basic continental breakfast without the waffles and the non working pool was pretty but a disappointment to my kids who wanted to go swimming. Staff was friendly

The Econolodge was exactly as expected. Cheap, no frills, and a strange perfumed smell. However, it was clean and the air conditioning did work. We’ve travelled across country and stayed in many hotels, this should have been cheaper…

While definitely in need of a renovation, the staff makes the best of what they have. Rooms are dated and worn, but relatively clean and good sized rooms. Rooms are quiet and have all the furnishings of the 80’s in decent repair. Pricewise they are competitive but you get what you pay for.

I figured I would give them 3 stars and give them the benefit of the doubt. I review everything before getting into it and the reviews on most other sites were unnerving. The reviewers complained about the cleanliness of the rooms, which I could see, and how outdated the motel was. We fortunately got 2 of the clean(er) rooms. The rooms were clean enough for 2 nights, where the only purpose was sleeping and showering. This motel is seriously outdated, but I would expect so being where it is located. The staff was friendly enough, however we got 2 different answers for early check-in which was a bit irritating, but when it came down to it we were able to check in earlier than usual. Basically if i had to stay there again, for a night or two I would. Any longer, probably not. I will give them points for not having to pay up front, we booked back in August I believe because everything between Binghamton and Ithaca had no vacancy and you had to pay a ridiculous amount up front.

Checked in here as no place on the road available– dark dingy hallways… It is spooky up in the back on the second floor. Bed super old and too soft like it needs to go in the garbage. My sheets had magic marker stains… The bathroom pail had garbage in it and the light in the bath did not work– a well used piece of soap was on the sink with an open wrapper. Pretty disgusting. New carpet– old shabby bed with bedspreads with cigarette burn holes… I hope I get some sleep tonite. Update– after waiting a half hour to try to get someone to fix the light in the bathroom I said I am exhausted after driving all day… get me another room. After a ridicoulous walk to the lobby through a maze of ugly corridors I got another room key– went there… bathroom had tiles off the wall and laying on the floor– the tub. sorry folks it was stained beyond filth… Checked out and moved next door where I am happy as a lark this AM– cheaper next door and newer!!!

Pretty decent budget hotel. we just stayed one night passing through Binghamton. It seems like they are in the middle of an overhaul of the hotel so the room we got was pretty nice for a budget hotel. New carpet, clean bed and bathroom except for a couple stray hairs around which is always a bit unnerving but whatya gonna do. As we approached our room for the first time you could hear that our neighbors were being rather loud and you could hear them very clearly in the hall. After we entered the room, you couldn’t hear a thing. That part was wonderful. I’m used to budget hotels having very thin walls so that was a relief. Overall I would stay again if the wife and I were looking for a cheap place to crash for the night.

Traveling with my wife and 3 young daughters, the hotel allowed us to check in early and utilize their pool. The pool was very clean and well maintained, as was our room. The hotel is situated very close to many other activities, restaurants and the Interstate.
