in reponce to your review the banks set the fiancé rates. not a dealership. if you would not had a personel relationship with the bank you got your finacing through you would have been at th the 15%.with limited credit why would, you think you should get top notch finacing. i bought a car for from there love the car and everything about the deal. the service and parts are just great.

Not impressed. Although I love my car that I purchased from the dealership [I’ve had it for two years with no issues], I was not happy with the financing. I walked in the door with a trade-in vehicle appraised at about $ 5,000 — that was going to be my down payment. I told the salesman that I would not have any cash to put down and that I had very little credit. He said it was no problem and they would get me financed. When it came down to dealing on the car, I was given the price and payments that I wanted and promised 6.00% interest or less on the loan. I signed the contract and took my car home. A couple days later, I got a call from the dealership asking me to come down and sign more paperwork. I took the afternoon off work and went in. The manager then led me to his office and closed the door. He proceded to tell me that his original financing option fell through and he would not be able to get me the interest rate he had initially promised, and that it would be «slightly higher» than the rate he quoted me earlier. «Slightly higher» was«slightly an understatement»…less than 6.00% went up to 15.25%. I was pretty taken aback by this information — I figured that it would be maybe 1.00% or 2.00% more, but not 9.25%! I had the option to either accept the high rate, find my own financing, or return the vehicle. Luckily I had a great relationship with a local bank and was able to get the car financed at 6.25% and keep my payments around the amount initially promised by the dealership. Anyway, just a word to the wise; this is called a «Yo-Yo Scam» and many dealerships do this, although illegal in all 50 states.
