Rendezvous Casino and Burger Grill

I was waiting to get my tires put on my car at Costco and decided to have lunch across the street at what certainly looked like a casino. Now I have been to a number of places that look like a dive but have good food– especially burgers and fries. I walked in and it was certainly a casino. The casino space was as big if not bigger than the restaurant seating area. The lighting was that which you would expect in a casino (I think you get the idea– it’s a casino). It was seat yourself, so I grabbed a both as several tables were open. It took a minute to have a person come over to ask what I would like to drink, but no big deal. It was recommended by my waitress to get a burger and fries (they are hand cut). Again, it took a little while to get my food out, but I wasn’t in a hurry as I knew I had time. Once my food came out I saw quite a stack of fries and a decent looking hamburger. The food tasted fine, but nothing special. I am not sure I would go back, but the price was pretty good– a lot of food for $ 8. So if you have a toss up of getting food at Costco or here, I would likely lean towards Costco simply based on price.

Come here for cheap burgers. Variety of options or build your own. Bask in the dim lit room but illuminated by glorious pink, purple and blue fluorescent light. Non smoking makes this place even more tolerable.
Find the jalapeño cheese bites awesome – in other establishments they call them jalapeño poppers. Beers are by the bottle and some are as low as $ 2.25. The French fries are anything but French, they taste ‘merican to me. And are very yummy, a cross between limp, crisp and salty. Perfection.
Watch the older folks sit together and not talk, it’s an art, you know, eating, not talking and staring at fluorescent lighting or the weird glass etching in the booths. A fine art, only perfected by the 70 year old and over crowd. Someday, just someday, you can be like them too.

Good homemade burgers and fries. And the chicken fried steak is truly the best in town.

I had their steak & eggs breakfast. It was a 6 oz sirloin, 2 scrambled eggs, generous portion of hash browns, 2 pieces wheat toast, and a cup of bottomless coffee for just under $ 8 cheap.
That is a heckuva good deal because the food was cooked just right. Scrambled eggs were fluffy, steak was medium rare on the mark, hash browns were fried crispy outside & moist inside, coffe was good & strong (both) without being overpowering. The only downsides were that I needed to add the salt & pepper myself and that the toast arrived lukewarm. These are tiny nits to pick from an otherwise very fine meal.
It was nice to have Tobasco sauce in both red & green flavors, plus the usual condiments (ketchup, mustard, steak sauce, sugar/​pink/​blue/​yellow pkts, etc) at the table already. No need to ask for them. Also nice that the waitress left a full pot of coffee on the first round without being asked. Generosity of portion seems to be a hallmark here.
Service was excellently attentive, if somewhat lacking in the friendliness or cheery department. I am willing to ascribe it to someone simply having an off morning. I mean, she was neutral… not openly hostile or grouchy and also not upbeat or sparkling. She did her job professionally & proficiently, if somewhat perfunctorily.

Best CHEAP burgers in town. Feed 4 people for $ 20 is easy to do here. Nice menu selection. It’s not a very big place so it can get crowded quickly. It’s attached to a bar/​casino. Located at the end of costco parking lot next to King Ave

Cheap burgers. Good topping list. I had a ¼ lb. (Can get bigger… up to 1 lb) With blue cheese, mushrooms, jalapeño, and french fried onions. Mushrooms are canned. Burger overcooked and dry. Added worcestershire at the table. Otherwise it was a good value. Fries are great. About $ 6 for the burger and fries, which is awesome. Next time is ask for it less well done. I don’t know if that would get me anywhere, though.

Came here on recommendations from a couple friends and my experience was as expected. The burger was okay… It was big and inexpensive. The toppings were really good and are what made the burger. The meat itself taste like there was no seasoning, I couldn’t actually taste the meat at all. If I was rating just the burger I would have given a 3 star «a-​ok». The fourth star comes from the sides and price. The fries were excellent, the onion rings better than most, service was good and attentive. I think we had two half pound burgers, sides and drinks and paid a total of $ 12 – 13 not counting tip.
Burger 3 stars, sides and toppings 4 stars, value 5 stars.

Ok Unilocalers, this is a great burger place that has a casino. everything is made fresh to order. If you ever tasted a fresh patty burger, it brings out the flavor. The choices go up to a one pound burger for 7.00 and you get three toppings like grilled onion, grilled mushrooms, french fried onions and so on. I sprang for the fried egg 1.10 more, but worth the added flavor. I kicked burger booty one pound, with french fried onions, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, pepper jack cheese, and horseradish sauce with onion rings.
Also went to breakfast there, Hand breaded chicken fried steak and eggs, wished more places would do this, its called cooking chefs, stop running to wal mart and buying the pre made things. Try actually cooking for your customers and stop putting out Microwave food.
