Today was my first time here and was impressed. Like walking into Gramm’s house, very relaxing and a real home feeling. I ordered the special [chicken fried steak] it was damn good. It covered the plate and was the real deal not a perfectly square patty from the freezer. Real spuds and good gravy. All for 8 bucks. It’s not fancy with white linen table cloths but it’s clean and cozy and that’s all I need. Friendly waitress and just good food. Can’t wait to go back and try some other items. Looks like they do a great breakfast and have fresh pies. Need we say more? They also have monthly lunch specials: Goulash, Ham hocks, cabbage rolls and the list goes on. Lookin for something different then you must go here.

Only downfall I see with this café is its closed on weekends if you want a big breakfast or a big lunch and not pay a lot of money this is the place to go we were surprised the size of the portions we had 2 chicken fried steak breakfast they hand bread I’m here extra points for that tired of going to places that take a frozen little cube steak out of a box and slept gravy on it these people take time to do it right and it’s worth your time to stop here and give it a try

I went here for breakfast with two family members, and we all split one meal. Let me tell you, their portions are enormous. Not only that, when we told the waitress that we would be splitting the meal three ways, she added a little more to our plate. That was so nice of her! Also I think the prices here are very reasonable.

This place is not very good. Run down little BBQ shack should be a great find right?! Wrong. I saw them scooping macaroni salads and potato salads out of Sysco boxes. The chicken strips were paper thin boxed kind. The salad was laughable. The pulled pork is so flavorless taste like boiled pork with no seasoning. And it’s not that tender to boot. BBQ sauce alright and people are hard working blue collar help but it just sucks. Go to blues or big guy BBQ food truck. Soooo much better.

Stopped for an overnight in Billings MT, and Unilocaled this place as an alternative to a continental motel breakfast. From the faded plastic sign to the uninviting, but practical, steel front door, this place had been here for years, doing the same thing for what looked like a loyal, mostly local customer base. Seat yourself, hon. The food was straightforward. Diner fare, diner perfect, diner fast. Two eggs over medium, hash browns toast, little plastic tubs of Smuckers jam, and great, huge, crispy bacon. Done to perfection, and should have been measured in board feet! Great, filling, precise, and delicious. The service polite, if a little wary(reserved for the non-regulars?) If you’re passing through Billings, have breakfast here. It will do the job and get you on your way.

I went here today for all you can eat pork and it was my first time visiting. Yum! I love pulled pork and theirs was nice and tender with not a lot of fatty bits. It was only $ 7.50 for pork, rolls, potato salad and beans– all you can eat! The waitress was really nice, too and let me do a take out all you can eat pork special. They just filled a take out box with pork, potato salad and 2 rolls, then put a large beans on the side. I’m excited to go back and try them for breakfast!
