I’m originally from Billings and am in town visiting my father and the rest of my family and friends. I always like to take dad to see a good movie and today we came to see The Revenant(EXCELLENT film). We chose to see it on the big digital screen and enjoyed very comfortable seating. All was great … other than we were absolutely DEAFENED by the volume. I have no problem with loud music(AC/DC? Aerosmith? Bring ‘em on!) but this was genuinely so RIDICULOUS and OBNOXIOUS that I felt it just HAS to be intentional. THIRTYMINUTES of previews and commercials at such ear-splitting volume that I had to put my fingers in my ears! Had I not had my 86 year old father by my side I would have gone hunting for a manager. Never, and I mean NEVER put yourself through this abuse! I’ll NEVER go to this theater again … they had everything right and then destroyed the entire experience! FINDANOTHERTHEATER!!!

Had an unusually bad experience today at the Shiloh 14 movie theater. My boyfriend and I decided to go see a movie today at noon, which didn’t end up happening. We arrived around 11:58 only to see that both ticket lines were out the doors and halfway to the street. Not a big deal in the end, we were only in line for about 7 minutes thanks to Meghan, the girl who sold us our tickets. There was only one other person selling tickets for this amount of people. While waiting in line we witnessed the assistant manager walking around supervising and asking if anyone had preordered tickets online, however that was the ONLY thing he was doing. The elderly man in front of us in the line stopped him and commented that it was ridiculous that the lines were so long(because only two people were selling tickets) and said they needed to call in more employees to work. This is actually all the man said, because the manger interrupted him and said«That’s your opinion» and just walked away. After receiving our tickets, we proceeded to get in line for the concessions. We picked what looked like the shortest line, which we soon realized was probably the shortest for a reason because after starting in line only about 15 feet/7 or 8 other customers ahead of us, we were in line for 40 minutes. I literally watched the lines next to us, with people who got in those lines at the same time we did go into their movies about 15 – 20 minutes earlier than us. This was all thanks to the one employee who had absolutely no sense of urgency, a teenage boy named Gunner and he made it very obvious he didn’t care about speeding up. The line on my left, run by a young girl named Katie, was the fastest line I could visibly see, and the line to my right run by a girl named Victoria was also moving much faster. Finally around 12:45, we get our popcorn and coke, and I go to sit down in the theater while my boyfriend goes to the counter to talk to the manager about a refund, considering our movie started about 30 minutes before we could see it. He told the manager about everything that happened and the manager nodded along, not saying anything, and looked completely bored. He didn’t apologize for a single thing that happened, and when asked about a refund he replied, «Well yeah you could get a refund, SHE(Meghan) could have done that.» Basically saying his time was wasted by being called out there. So we switched our movie to the only other showing at 5:30 and left. The one employee who impressed me the most was a woman named Nakoda, who came in around 12:30 and immediately got behind the counter and started asking customers what she could get started for them so that the lines would move faster. I apologize for this post being so long, and just would like to say«Good job» to Meghan, Katie, and Nakoda(who in my opinion should be the manager), and that the assistant manger handled the entire situation poorly and was extremely rude, that is not how a manager handles problems.

Prob best place in town to go watch movies clean and comfortable. Employees are very business like but the service with the younger ones working the counter are a little slower at doing there job.

Is it just me or do the employees act as if they have the worst job on the planet and aren’t shy about letting everyone know? God forbid anyone should crack a smile or let you feel welcome. Thank goodness for on demand and Netflix.

This is the best movie theater in town! There’s only two, but still. There isn’t much of a difference when it comes to the price of tickets. But, the stadiums are more comfortable and larger. The seats are soft and plush. Also, the screens seem wider to me. It’s on the far west side of town, but it’s definitely worth the few extra miles. :)

Very insensitive employees towards handicapped children which is a total shame in today’s day and age. I’ve not experienced this type of insensitivity in my 45 years on God’s green Earth. My Autistic 12 year old son was discriminated against in this movie theater by one female employee on January 28, 2012 at 12:22pm while trying to attend Beauty and the Beast 3D. I’ve never seen anything like it and am totally appalled that Carmike would allow such discrimination to happen at one of their movie theaters. Managers of Carmike: go to your security tapes for the time given and look specifically at the southern entrance to movie theater #10 where BatB was playing. An autistic boy examines a 3D glasses drop box and screamed at by a female employee. Very sad in this day and age.

The newest and best of only two movie theaters in town. Stadium seating, clean and plenty of parking. On Tuesday they have small popcorn and small pop for $ 1.

What modern movie theater these days doesn’t have an automated kiosk to vend tickets? Seriously, folks — get with the times. Other than that, a perfectly serviceable place to watch flicks on the big screen. The popcorn butter appeared to be part indelible yellow ink and so stained my fingers, teeth, and the lining of my GI tract.
