I always have to have the Carmel Cookie Waffles on hand, they’re so amazing! They feel heavy but the flavor is light and not too sweet. I can’t say enough about how much I love them and recommend every give them a try. Thank you for a consistently great product!

One of my all-time favorite places for lunch. I have tried many of their soups, and they are all fresh and delicious. I cannot pick a favorite. Lunch special with soup, a yummy savory pastry, caramel cookie waffle & a drink is a great value. Sandwiches, quiches and baked goods are all excellent. I especially love their cheesecakes with crust made from caramel cookie waffles. It is a small restaurant and typically busy, but the service is quick & friendly.

When I decided to visit Billings, Montana I had many preconceived notions about what my culinary experience would be like. However, what I didn’t anticipate was stumbling across this gem of a hole in the wall. This place is an epic clash of a strip mall deli meets old fashioned breakfast nook. As soon as I walked in I was teleported to a little Dutch café in the midst of Montana! The wait was a bit long, but that was in part due to them being closed for the three day holiday weekend and the long line of regulars. Everyone seemed to be in remission from the prolonged closure and experiencing some sort of coffee and pastry withdrawal. The clerk took time out between orders to make customers orders on the spot, while the other clerks and bakers were in the back preparing a large phone order. I didn’t mind waiting and enjoyed the special attention to detail!!! An additional perk was the clerk greeted regular customers by name while delivering them their regular orders of latte’s and apricot almond cookies!!! Lastly, there was a gentleman in the bake of the house who came to the front of the small deli to greet me and took notice that I wasn’t a regular who clearly looked out of place. My order: salami and havarti cheese on a croissant, a slice of almond butter cake, and a few caramel stroopwaffles for my flight back to the bay! Next time and in Montana I’ll be sure to pop in for that small town charm and European culinary napalm.

You used to have a wonderful cookie filled with caramel. I purchased two of your cookies at Good Earth Market just last Saturday. I can only say I was very disappointed. There was barely enough caramel to taste it. They were no longer filled with caramel, instead there was just two waffle cookies with enough caramel to stick them together. Before this time when I purchased them when you took a bite you could see the caramel and it would string out as you bit into it. No more good cookies — I wont buy them anymore as this was a definite disappointment.

Obviously the Carmel Cookie Waffles are delectable! The soups are homemade and«soup”-er hardy! LOL! The lunch pastries are flaky and filling. All-around fantastic, local fare.

Carmel cookie is the bomb. I live a couple blocks away and stop in at least once a week. The soups are awesome the salads are great. And the ice tea is the best.

Wow… So we were on our way to church(we are new in town) and out of nowhere the wifey asks«oooo, what do you think that Carmel cookie waffle place is?» I immediately pull out my phone and hand it to her and she looks it up on my Unilocal app. Good reviews… So a week later we finally made it in. Didn’t expect to be hit with so many choices! Baked goods, deli style lunch options and oh my word the desserts looked awesome. We just had lunch so we opted to share the Italian pasta salad and a couple brownies(Carmel brownie and a cream cheese brownie). Hands down the best pasta salad I’ve ever had(see photo) and thebrownies were pretty good as well. We took home some stroopwaffles for dessert after dinner which were amazing. We also bought some bread that we will try later today. The customer service here was fantastic! When we said we were new in town and had no idea what a stroopwaffle was she immediately pulled one out for us to sample while she explained everything else on the menu. We are fans and will be back. If the lunch menu is as good as our dessert and side I will for sure update to five stars.

What a great hole in the wall! Fail on my part for not getting the stroopwaffles and the caramel cookie waffles that everyone keeps raving about. However, I was there for lunch and opted for their Soup du Jour(chicken gumbo) and house salad instead — YUM! As it would have been tragic to have left without a baked good(or a few baked goods), I did choose their apricot almond thumbprint cookies(Wow, only 75 cents!) and was not at ALL disappointed. When I first came in, however, I was a little overwhelmed… in a GOOD way! There are so many options here to satisfy the inner glutton. Soups, salads, sandwiches, artisan breads, cookies, gluten free options like chocolate covered coconut macaroons, cheesecakes, turnovers, you name it, they got it. My kinda bakery! I only have three more days left in Billings, and I know I will be visiting at LEAST three more times! Service is very friendly and food is given quite promptly, even during busy lunch hours! They got it down!

Went there on my b-day to have some fresh baked treats and I’m glad I did. I had the Blueberry Cheesecake Pastry, a Lemon Square, and an Apricot Butter Square. No, I couldn’t finish it all…, but I did sample each one. Each pastry was sooo good and very rich without being too sweet…, yup pastry heaven. Also, I took some of their Caramel Cookie Waffles home with me and I tried those a few days later. Well, to no surprise those kicked but too… So, take my word on this Unilocalers and Do Not Sleep on the Caramel Cookie Waffles :)

I grew up eating these stroopwafels whenever I would visit Billings in the summer to visit family. I’ve tried several other brands and none of them can even come close to the awesomeness of these. Occasionally you can find them other places outside of Billings but the best ones are fresh from the source. These little things are quite dangerous and it isn’t unheard of to eat the whole bag with out even noticing it they are so addictive. It is a family requirement that when people come to visit they must bring at least one pack if not more. Sadly I can’t speak to any of the other food they offer but if it is half as good as the stroopwafels it’ll be damn tasty.
