I thought I would see what the store had since it was under new management and was pleasantly surprised by how different the store looked. Not only did the store change, but the menu was all new and the meal choices were amazing. The new owners and the staff are all wonderful. I’ve been there maybe four times already and plan to make it my regular. I just went and got a large roast beef sub (which is cheaper than other places, and oh so delicious) and tried one of their homemade salads (Greek). All I can say is WOW. I’ve been telling everyone I know to come back to the all new Turnpike Market. I live two minutes from the store (a bonus for me). Thank you for breathing new life back into this store. See you soon.

I’ve been going here for 20 years and is a staple of the neighborhood. In 2014 it was bought out by a new family and I was uncertain of the changes.
I will say that the changes have been for the better. The new owners have introduced new sandwich options (my personal favorites being the chicken bacon ranch and the paneer masala) they have also renovated the entire store which has allowed for more efficient service on behalf of them. I’m vegan now, but their veggie sub is satisfying. They have also kept a few staple subs and they seem to have kept the same produce vendors from when Tom and Duncan owned it.
Liquor selection is great albeit a little bit on the pricey side, but it’s the only liquor store serving the nutting lake area so take it as you please.

tried this place again. 6 bucks for a Ham and Cheese that had 2 slice ham, and 1 slice american cheese. Give me a break! these indians are ruining this place. never again. Yes, they smile at you, all the way to the bank with your money.

Best subs in town is right. I have had the Italian the last few times and it is delicious, but today I got the meatball sub and it was the best I ever had. I will be there once or twice a week for as long as I am working in the area.

The new owners are always smiling and inviting when you walk in. It is clean and completely updated inside. The subs are excellent. Fresh, and filled with quality ingredients. Stop in you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time getting food here since the new owners took over. My girlfriend was visiting so we decided we’d check it out. I ordering the chicken bacon ranch sub and my girlfriend ordered an Italian sub. We both really enjoyed our sandwiches! The bread was fresh and the subs were filled with plenty of meat, cheese and fresh vegetables! I wasn’t sure what to try so the owner recommended the chicken bacon ranch! The chicken was tender and I had it with yummy melted cheddar cheese! It was delish! I have been into the store for other things since they’ve opened and I really love the new look and what they are doing with the place! It looks great! Every time I’ve been in there the owners are always very friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend checking it out! I know I will be going back!

I have been shopping here for twenty years. From Hot Coffee with Tom at 6am to the best subs at lunch to cold ones for the house, Turnpike Market has everything you need!

This place is by far the best subs in town. I think it is the bread they use that make their subs so delicious, but the whole sandwich is absolutely mouthwatering. In addition, you can get a sub and a drink or chips (sometimes both!) for under $ 5! The only thing with this little shop is that it has very selective hours. You can always get a sub there on your lunch break at work, but go for dinner or on the weekends and you have to be careful.
