The children’s area and librarians are the best. The programs are the best around! I’m so grateful for the Billerica library; it’s been great for my kids (and grown ups too).

Love this library! Even though it is small, they have lots of books to choose from and a nice, organized, and welcoming layout inside. I go between here and the Bedford Public Library a lot — and between them can find/​request anything I want. The staff is very pleasant as well.

When you think of libraries, you probably don’t associate them with being modern or even close to the 21^st Century. The Billerica Public Library prides itself on keeping up-​to-​date, allowing patrons to reserve books from their location, as well as others from the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium. You receive an email when your book is ready for pickup.
In addition, you can search the library’s catalog online, renew books through their website, subscribe to newsletters, and learn about upcoming events. One of my favorite features is the ability to reserve museum passes through their website. You receive a huge discount and get to visit some of the best cultural institutions in Boston!
The staff are super-​friendly and extremely accommodating. I’m able to get pretty much any book I want within a week, unless it’s an extremely popular bestseller.
This is your tax dollars at work, so you might as well take advantage of their great services! The library is open 7 days a week for most of the year and offer excellent programs for adults and children alike. Support your local library so we don’t lose a valuable institution such as this one!
