Apple Bin Grill & Bakery

Breakfast is always pretty good if you can get the service. I walked out twice now and there won’t be a third. Try to go around ten when things slow down a bit but it keeps getting worse. It seems like management likes to keep the bad help and run the good off. The last time about a week ago there was a man in there that actually yelled «I’m ready «twice just to pay his bill. The only person to be working was a girl that was more interested In counting her tips. I’m a local/​local and she better hope something never opens around her or she’ll be S.O.L. They should have someone bus the tables so it frees the girls what the hell do I know. I’m just a paying customer that comes hungry and leaves hungry.

This was a surprise of a breakfast place. The menu was typical diner food but very enjoyable. Our waitress was great attentive but not overwhelming. Coffee was more than decent portion sizes were generous for the price. I paid 8 $‘s for my plate of food but had the church special which was three eggs, choice of meat, home fries (I added onions and cheese), two pieces of toast, fruit, coffee included, small juice and I added a side of bacon. It was filling and pretty good. Food was a touch cool, but I would go back if I am in the area again. The locals had regular tables and the restaurant was about ¾ full for 0730 in the morning.

The Apple Bin is our favorite «go to» restaurant when we want a nice hamburger for lunch. Try their cheeseburger deluxe ordered medium or medium rare… It comes with a generous portion of hand cut french fries… And we think it’s delicious.
It’s a great place to eat lunch when you are having a Drive in the Apple country of Adams County.

Had a Hot Turkey Swiss Sub and tea, both were excellent.
Nice family atmosphere restaurant and good service.

I had not been here in many years due to a mediocre experience on the past. I had the liver and onions, which was very good. The French fries are shoestring and very good as well. The service was slow but it wasn’t the poor waitresses fault. She was managing the dining rom by herself. Overall good experience.

A lot of locals are crazy about this place, but I just haven’t seen the same things. The homemade fries and whoopie pies are good and my husband likes the chocolate chip pancakes, but nothing else has been really special. The place gets packed for breakfast though, so I am sure there is something that I must be missing.
