I would definitely recommend this company. The guys showed up when expected, brought all the gear and fitted us right in our condo. They even put it al downstairs in our ski locker. They were friendly and so professional. I ended up skiing two days less than expected and all I did was call and they picked up that afternoon. These folks are great

We were thrilled to rent from black tie. They had excellent service and were very knowledgable. They took a lot of time to ensure food boot fit which has been a problem for us at other locations. Lastly we could keep the skis for 3 days but only pay for the two days we were skiing. That way in between skiing we could do other activities without having to return them. They will also do service at your doorstep if you ask in advance.

My Black tie experience was extremely disappointing. The company had to visit our house 4 times in order to get our ski equipment correct. Additionally, they incorrectly charged my credit card and when I called the store to have it corrected, no one called me back. It took 3 phone calls to get in touch with the right person, and when I did, the owner was unapologetic for his staffs poor performance. You can rent equipment for a MUCH cheaper price with better customer service. I would no recommend Black Tie to anyone renting at Big Sky.

Rented performance skis for my trip to Big Sky. Staff dropped off the skis on time and took a minute to answer my questions about where I should go on the mountain. I used their advice my 3 days of skiing. They were also nice to refund me a day when I decided to bail on a subzero day and return my skis early. Pick up was hassle free, left the skis outside the front door. I highly recommend Black Tie Ski Rentals!

This is the best way to rent skis. We used this service for 5 days of rentals and it was great that we chose Black Tie Ski Rentals.
Needed some information, so I sent an email to the owner Seth. He responded with some good details.
We ordered three ski packages for the first two days, then ordered a snowboard for two days, added another ski package. Returned the snowboard to get a smaller one for my younger son who wanted to try it for two days. Asked for a switch on my older sons ski to shorter skis … all for just 5 days of skiing.
They performed fabulously … the best part was they delivered to our rental and we didn’t need to haul stuff up and back to the rental store.
You will enjoy the service and their equipment.
We will be using them everywhere that we can.

I just recently went skiing at Big Sky in Montana and rented skis here at Black Tie. I’ve been renting skis for about 20 years now and have to say this was the best service and I got some amazing skis!!! Atomic Heaven and Hells, they were so much fun in the powder.
These guys even delivered the skis to my place and picked them back up when I was done, what’s not to love about that!!!
