Brenda and Alberto are great, along with the rest of the fun staff! Food is some what Americanized but so on point! Great to bring the family or just kick back with a marg!

Came here on a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. We walked in and were told it would be a minute for our table so we saddled up at the bar for ice cold modelos and killer margs. They had some great art pieces of luchadors and masks. The salsa and guacamole was so fresh and cold. The chips were hot and the women hotter. We ordered a myriad of dishes, the best which was the fajitas. They were served on a piping hot cast iron pan with tortillas on the side. I like how you can portion your own servings! The server was very attentive with chip and salsa refills(complimentary) and water. The cheque was also very reasonable for the area. It is a good place for authentic mexican food in a ski town.

Let’s just say after my boyfriend and I ate here, our stomachs didn’t stop rumbling. The experience was fine, we got there early and food came out quick. The house margarita and guacamole were good, but the entrée food was sub par. I felt like the chicken in the chili verde was cooked ahead of time and they just threw sauce on it. Maybe other dishes are better but even the enchiladas weren’t very delectable. This place is about as authentic as Taco Bell.

Mexican food is an essential part of the skier experience. Why you might ask? Three words: carbs, meat, and big portions that won’t make you feel guilty the next day on the slopes. My family dined at Alberto’s last night and were treated to a spunky waitress, a rather large portion of ceviche, guacamole, chicken fajitas, chicken tamales, and a plate of rice and beans. Dinner was well seasoned and served hot, which made the family very happy after a long day of exploring Yellowstone National Park! Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone craving Mexican food in the Big Sky resort area.

The food was pretty tasty, and the desserts were delicious. We also had excellent, attentive service. The prices were pretty high though, with a small side serving of guacamole costing $ 9. All the dishes the four of us ordered came with red beans and rice though, and a little variety would have been nice.

I’ve eaten at Alberto’s three times now. Each time hoping it would get better. Tonight, it was one of those«they can’t do anything right» kind of experiences. We waited 15 minutes for service, menu items were unavailable, the food came out before the drinks, the food didn’t come as ordered, there was obvious tension among the staff, and it was mediocre at best. I will do my best to avoid Alberto’s again.

Terrible service and marginal food. The taco salad had maybe 2T of lettuce! If you eat here try something else.

Dining at Alberto’s was a great decision. The owner and his wife were gracious hosts, and we’re justly proud of the dishes they served. If you are looking for Mexican food in the Gallatin Valley, treat yourself to Alberto’s.

The food was good. Price was above average pricing. Service was actually excellent. We came just before closing and were treated well. Didn’t have piña coladas. The music was not Mexican which is always weird in a Mexican restaurant. Floors could use a vacuum but it was the end of the day. And light bulbs were blown out. Right now I’m listening to Ray Charles — Georgia. Which doesn’t really match big sky Montana or Mexican food now it’s Michael Jackson playing. Maybe the song fits because it’s «oh baby give me one more chance»

Slow service and poor quality food. Plate was hot and tamale was cold. Bland and over priced. Stay away.

There are good Mexican food places, there are bad Mexican food places, and then there are bad Mexican food places that are priced like great Mexican food places. The salsa tastes like Totino’s pizza rolls. The queso is $ 14. It’s not worth it. Decent house margarita though.

Great food, our server was awkward. I had the a la carte suiza enchiladas and a guacamole appetizer. The enchiladas were excellent and the guac was fresh with thick chunks of avocado. Our server thought I was with the teenage group loitering near the entrance and made a rude comment when I walked in, she later apologized when we were seated but it was still awkward. Five stars for food four stars overall.

I really enjoy the authentic dishes Alberto prepares! The service is superb behind a smiling face! As a local of Big Sky it’s important to have great restaurants in our town succeed! Thanks!

Sketchy service, sometimes great. Sometimes horrendous. Sometimes feels like your bothering them and forgetting who the customer is and what’s the reason for business. Owner«Brenda» lady walks around like her shit don’t stink, but yes, the bathroom does, and yes the stench of kitchen reeks if your there after close. Big sky needs desperate help on their restaurant scene. In the next two years this place will be irrelevant Don’t come here if your looking for attentive service, clean restaurant, or anything normal that any traditional restaurant would offer. I’m a big sky local, and as łike most locals we avoid this place like the plague… Vacationers beware, if your looking for a traditional Mexican restaurant like you would see back home look else ware. Prices are decent but this is big sky so nothing were not used to paying, especially for freshly made food. This place started with a bang, and like Most big sky mediocre restaurants it has taken a drastic slip downhill since

Two tacos and a draft for $ 8 is what got them the fourth star lol Good chips and tasty salsa helped as well. I got the chicken tacos and they were good but could’ve used some cheese on my opinion. Friendly staff and good food warrant giving this place a try

Excellent Mexican food and service. Tasty margaritas with quality tequila. Guacamole was fluffy and flavorful. We ordered the chicken tacos, chicken fajita salad, verdes enchiladas(amazing) and carne asada(came recommended but felt it lacked flavor). The dessert(churros, fried ice cream, and sopapilla) were OK. Overall, we would definitely return for more goodness!

This is for sure better than the previous Mexican restaurant but I wasn’t overly impressed, most dishes we had were rather bland. Prices seemed average for this area & portion size seemed a little below average. Service was also about average. Overall I didn’t really walk out feeling I had an «authentic» Mexican meal at all. We will probably return eventually but its not my top pick in town for eating out.

Thrilled to have this brand new Mexican restaurant in Big Sky. The tacos Asada are out of this world, the enchiladas are delicious, and the margaritas made just right. Strongly recommended! The service is great too
