Super friendly staff. They do get busy. I learned from my first time go the day before in the late afternoon and rent for the next day. They were very nice to our kids and took the time to fit them. I have been back a few time now. They are consistent.

I went there because they were $ 2.50 cheaper than the other place I usually rent from. They are extremely nice people, but I’m not so sure about their products. The first set of boots they gave me felt like there was zero padding inside of them, it was like I was standing on concrete, The boots were in horrible condition and seems like they were 10 years old. They wanted to charge me more for a deluxe set of boots when I complained. The next set of boots they brought was only slightly better, by this time I was ready to get out of there because the service was very slow. Only one person available(the husband) to fit and adjust the equipment. When I got to the slopes, I found the boot had a broken buckle. The poor quality equipment affected the control and ability to turn. I also paid $ 55.00 for a new pair of gloves that didn’t work, my hands were cold! My son purchased gloves also, but his were Gore-Tex and the same price, and his hands were warm. When I returned the same day, I told them about the gloves, they told me I had to send them to the manufacture and would not exchange them. They told me their policy was no refunds, and there was a no refunds sign. But I didn’t want a refund, I wanted to exchange them because they didn’t work like they should have. I told them I was going to leave a Unilocal review about my experience and suddenly they changed their mind and let me exchange the gloves. My other son purchased gloves for $ 55, the stitching on his gloves were coming apart, but they would not exchange his gloves, and told him he had to mail them to the manufacturer. Very disappointed in their business model and how they treat the paying customers. If you’re looking for nice people, a mom-and-pop shop with old tattered equipment, this is your place. If you want new comfortable equipment then go elsewhere. They told me they would give me a refund on the equipment rental because of the broken buckle, but I have not seen the refund come through yet.

This family run place has some of the best rates on the mountain. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about both skiing and snowboarding. You can rent and return the following morning or rent the evening before you hit the slopes. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue for years to come.

Went there few times. Parking sucks especially if is snow, they are slow, the equipment is quite old /worn and can get busy at times. On the other hand is cheap and they are nice people.

This is a great, one stop shop for all of your snow gear needs. It’s small, but we were able to get exactly what we needed; insulated snow boots and gloves for my children for $ 25 and $ 20 each, respectively. The woman behind the counter was also so helpful and friendly.

Terrible service and their boards and boots are old. Tried to save 10 dollars by renting here and ended up costing us an extra $ 25 as we just had to rent a board that fit at snow summit(better quality board there also) The board they gave my wife was way too big and did not hold her boots firmly on the binding. When I told them that the board they gave us did not hold her boots down, the owners response was basically sorry its your fault. When I told him we don’t even want a refund we just want to let you know that you gave us a board that didn’t fit her boots, his response was again sorry it’s not a real issue. What??? I was so shocked I didn’t even know how to respond. Save yourself the headache and rent from a different store.

A couple of years back I came to this place to rent a snowboard and boots. It was the cheapest place then and it was the cheapest place now. For $ 20 I was able to rent a snowboard and snowboarding boots. They have very helpful people working the front. Just tell them your height and shoe size and they start to work on getting you the best snowboard and shoes. If it’s your first time snowboarding, they take the time to explain how to use the equipment. Their shop closes at 5 p.m.; however, they let you drop off your equipment the next day before 9 a.m. with no extra charge if you don’t get there before closing. They not only rent equipment, but they have everything you need to have a great snowboarding experience. Furthermore, we noticed that they sold tire chains for $ 80 for trucks; we thought this was cheap because my boyfriend spent $ 100 for chains at Pep Boys. If I don’t buy my own snowboard and boots by the time I go snowboarding again, I will definitely use Ski Haus again.
