Big Bear Boards

We’ve had our guests rent at Big Bear Boards on Moonridge a few times (both kids and adults). They have good prices, and are pretty organized when servicing customers. We also had a ski tune up done here… happy with that. I’m saving a star in my review because I’m not sure they offer new gear. Not a biggie for me, though.

Two of my friends and I rented skis from here, and another friend rented a snowboard. Three of us had no problems, but one friend had a ski break during a private ski lesson (fortunately not on a slope), which she had to drop out of.
When we returned the skis the guy working there initially just said he could give her store credit, but after calling a manager they refunded her rental fee and gave her a store credit for a future rental.
They were really accommodating for me when I was getting my stuff, they’re cheaper than renting at the mountain, and I think they ended up taking care of the broken ski OK, but it just really socks to have you ski break when you only have a limited amount of time on the mountain.
