Best pizza in biddeford period. Go to Alexs and enjoy soggy grease, salt loaded, renal failure and a heart attack. Or louis and Tjs and have crap that tastes like frozen crust or fast food fairground pie. This place has hand tossed thin crust, fresh ingredients, live music, and clean pizza. When busy it may take a little longer, but its worth it. The only place ill get pizza in Biddeford.

I used to frequent UH at least once a week. I haven’t been there for about six months now and as much as I love the food and Jack(the husband of the married owners) the service went down the tank. The female owner isn’t rude to everyone but has always been cold to me. They are constantly changing whether or not they do waitress service. I got an attitude one night after asking for a fountain soda, which they have, but was told to get a bottle out of the cooler. Less than a week before that I was served a fountain beverage. My boyfriend and I went there frequently and often tallied up a $ 50+ dollar tab with dinner and drinks. It’s too bad that a disgruntled owner and rude staff have pushed people away.

This was the caterer Hired for a wedding, which ended up being a huge waste of Money. There was three attempts made in order to pay for the champagne, all Which failed due to no shows on their part– the only reason it was paid for was because we went to her place of business to remind her of The need to pay only to to get a nonchalant response of pay me tomorrow. This company is not very good at communicating with their clients nor have any sense of urgency/consideration for the needs of the client :/when choosing off of the menu they provided, we got outright told no because it was to labor intensive? The wedding ended up with hot dogs and half burgers– a BBQ is not what was part of the plan. The one nice thing, the chocolate fountain was set and and broken down before everyone was able to enjoy it. The evening of the wedding the staff of the caterer were rude and unwelcoming to guests, creating a negative vibe, so much so that a few of complained about rude comments made. **Save your time and money, these people are only going to give you a head ache. Being in the service industry myself I know that there is an importance to work with a sense of urgency for your guests/clients who are paying You. The woman in charge moved like she could care less about even the wedding guests needs, never mind the bride and grooms requests. I mean, THEBRIDEHADTOCUTHEROWNWEDDINGCAKE!!! Something the caterer said they would do… . $ 1700 for a BBQ and complaints from the guests about the horrible service :(I cannot tell the world quick enough to save themselves the grief and not to use them.

Quick edit(5÷2÷14): Union House Pub & Pizza closed about a month ago. I’ve got mixed opinions about the Union House but the best part is the pizza and that’s really what counts. Five of us went and ordered several different pizzas. They were all the same size, a bit too big for one person but not big enough for two, and this means leftovers. Everyone was happy, though one of us thought that the buffalo chicken pizza might have been a little too spicy. The other good thing about the place is the view. There aren’t too many windows, but they look out of the mill building and it’s an interesting view. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. After sitting around for ten minutes, a man came up to our table and told us that they didn’t have waitresses so we had to order the food at the far side of the bar. We persuaded him to give us menus and after a little while we figured out what we wanted. Drinks and food came slowly but it was all good when it came. The atmosphere was more pub than pizza. There’s basically a big bar with some tables around the sides. When people congregate at the bar, they block half of the tables. The crowd wasn’t young. There were people of all ages there, but the majority looked like they hadn’t seen their 40th birthday in a while. The restaurant seemed clean and well taken care of. While the décor wasn’t at all fancy, nothing was in bad shape and really, who needs fancy surroundings for pizza and beer? Finally, parking is tight. The parking spaces are small and many people have obviously not even made an attempt to fit their cars into the spaces. This isn’t the restaurant’s fault and I don’t hold it against them, but think about taking the smallest car you own when you go there.
