Fantastic service and great selection. I had some questions about the project I was completing and the staff was very knowledgable. I highly recommend Dupuis.

I appreciate the small business owners and prefer to use their services over the big retail stores. Having a hardware store in town is a benefit for the community, even when the prices are slightly higher than the big box stores.
That being said, the service I received this week will make me choose to go elsewhere in the future. Last weekend I dropped off a storm door screen to be fixed. I was told it would be ready Wednesday. So far, so good.
On Tuesday I received a call indicating the screen was ready. I went to pick it up and was told that the screen was not ready. It had been placed in the wrong pile. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I returned on Saturday only to find that it had not been done. The manager stepped In to help and had someone replace it as I waited. Replacing screens is not easy and that is why I was looking to have it done by a professional. When the screen came out, it was curled like a potato chip. The manager caught on that it was not acceptable and offered to have it done again. I was not able to wait and advised that I would be back shortly. The counter rep warned me that they would be closing within two hours.
I returned for the third time prior to closing to pick up the screen. The tension was reduced in the screen so it was no longer warped. Instead, there were a couple of minor sags. As I mentioned before, replacing screens is not an easy job. The cashier granted me a 5% discount for my inconvience.

We needed a locksmith and used these guys recently. They showed up on time, got everything done in a reasonable amount of time, didn’t make a mess, and didn’t charge a crazy amount of money. Nothing could have gone better and I’d definitely use them again.
Oh, and the hardware store is pretty good too. It’s nice to see several local hardware stores surviving in Home Depot’s shadow and I’m happy to support them.
