Waters & Brown Paint and Decorating

The best on the north shore. Do not be afraid to ask for help with color selection — every time we’ve gone in and asked someone to work with us to select colors, we’ve been extremely happy — they really are experts! Highly recommend!!!

In todays corporate world of «Walmarts» and Home Depots”, Waters and Browns should be the business model for customer sevice! We recently purchased a product to stain and protect our deck. Needless to say, the end result was a disaster. We were heartbroken, as our deck was only a year old. Sean and his staff went the extra mile, or should I say 10 miles to rectify the problem! Waters and Browns stand behind their advice and products. They truly care about customer satisfaction. They are the «Nordstroms» of the small bisiness world!

I will not purchase paint without stopping at Waters & Brown first! You can ask the woman for help in choosing a color and she has such a great eye for how a small swatch will look on a whole wall. They have ‘large swatches’ (1 ft x 2 ft) that you can view in the store or purchase which makes it much easier to see the color
They use paints and color companies that you can not find at Home Depot/​Lowes, but all of a very high quality and reasonably priced.
They are a small shop and give you the care and consideration that only a small shop can. Great! Great! Great!

Waters & Brown is the only place I will purchase paint for any project on the interior or exterior of my home. Their C2 paint is outstanding with incredible color depth and it lasts many more years than many other paint brands. They do carry Benjamin Moore paint as well.
They offer the best service. You can even call in what you want and they’ll prepare it for you so you don’t have to wait.
They once sent out a designer to resolve some issues we were having with deciding on colors in the dining room and living room. She had some great ideas and we came to a decision with her help. The cost was quite reasonable as I recall.

Not very helpful, and quite snobby for middle of nowhere.
Overall I fear the day I grow up, have kids, and have to move to the suburbs and deal with these kinds of people.
After attempting to flag down help from a man at the front desk area, and 2 paint makers, to no avail. I had to corner this woman on the other side of the store.
All i wanted was mixed samples of Benjamin Moore paint. After she gave me a full head to toe eyeball look-​over the woman explained it would take an hour since the colors I choose were not Benjamin Moore, and further it would be in a different paint brand.
over an hour for 3 sample colors to be mixed?
and stop looking at me like that… im sorry im not buying all kinds of wallpaper or need your expert decorating assistance. I just want some paint samples for now.

I have been dealing with Waters & Brown as a professional paperhanger and painter since getting into this business with my family back in 1980.
They are the pinnacle of retail stores in the painting and decorating field. Besides offering some of the best products, ranging from specialty wallpapers, paints and hardware, they have the staff to back it all up. If you are considering doing some renovations in your own home or are in the profession of interior decoration, this is the first place you should visit!

I will never buy paint or attempt to decorate my home without first going to Waters and Brown.
After we bought out home, my wife had a Waters and Brown color expert come to the house and they worked together to choose the colors for our home and it wasn’t even expensive. The staff takes the time to understand what you want and actually help you in all aspects of painting a room or even redecorating.
