Amazing. The tortas are SO good, I don’t know what else to say… The tacos are big and very filling– everything is very tasty. Love it here

Amazing. Authentic flavors. I got the Patron burrito. Home made chips and guacamole. Was busy the whole time I was in there. Very professional and authentic staff. Will be coming back and may even make the 40 minute drive from home to revisit.

The best tacos on the north shore! This place consistently serves delicious tacos and tortas for unbelievably reasonable prices. If you spend more than $ 10 – 12 here then you definitely but off a little more than you can chew. The tacos are incredible but I keep going back for the tortas. My favorite is the dos Caidas, but I have tried most of them and they are all outstanding. Their breakfast on the weekends is also something that everyone must try. Thank you la Victoria for consistently providing a delicious and affordable meal!

This place has the best tacos in the area. Small, clean, and friendly atmosphere. I found it easy to read the menu and order. Bring change for street parking. La victoria is reasonably priced and the food was exceptional. I will be coming here often.

Their tacos are unbelievably good. Reminds us of our favorite taqueria in NY City. You can’t go wrong with this place!

As a California Native, I feel that Mexican food IS essential to happiness. That being said, when I get a craving for Taqueria-esque Mexican food, La Victoria is the only place around that offers authentic, flavorful cuisine for a great price and in a cozy setting(and it’s so convenient!) Their tacos are delicious and filling, as well as their platos, which come with beans and rice. The staff is always welcoming and kind; they are really happy people here! The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I don’t really like their horchata, it’s a bit«fake-sweet» tasting for me. Also I wish you guys were open a bit later, I’ve gone a couple times just after you closed. Thank you La Victoria!

The food is always good here. A great value for the money. Clean, employees are friendly and courteous. The beef tongue is my favorite. Give it a try. The food is just as authentic as I just had in San Miguel de Allende. A job well done. Thank you.

This place was the bomb diggity. Came here with a friend and we both got a burrito. It was soooooo good. Like so good, I could have eaten twelve good. Parking is eh but that has nothing to do with the place. Its small. The staffwas good and food came back fast. I would definitely go here again.

If you want authentic tacos that are done the real way, eat here. Closest thing if not exact in detail compared to when I lived in Southern California. 5 stars all the way.

Friendly and patient staff. Seriously delicious food. Cool eating area with manageable ambient noise level — music and kitchen noise is not overpowering. Cool art and a great overall vibe. Will be back again and again.

Every time I go to write a Unilocal review of a restaurant these days, I can’t help but think of a really funny tweet/meme that I saw a while back reading: «White people’s Unilocal reviews be having plot twists and $h!t…» HAHAHA(I’d be lying if I said it didn’t have me thinking twice about what I write every. single. time.) Oh well. It’s all in good fun. I stumbled across La Victoria Taqueria this weekend on a street corner in Beverly center(Wallis St. off of Cabot St.) and in a fit of serious hunger I ran inside without thinking twice and grabbed three delicious tacos: chicken, carnitas and Mexican sausage(plot twist and $h!t). The tacos came in yellow corn tortillas garnished with onions, salsa and guacamole mousse(which seems to be all the rage lately). I got them to-go and they were prepared nicely so they carried well. From the outside, La Victoria looks inviting and has cool signage. On the windows, underneath the restaurant logo reads: «Mexican Street Food.» We gringos lud dat ish. Shortly after I ordered my tacos, the small space got packed with adults and youngens alike. I got to see lots of appetizing food roll off the counter. I am looking forward to getting back to this place to try out the tortas and the burritos because they look really good. The burritos seem to be very generously portioned, and wrapped well, as I watched the crew make several of them in a row.

La Victoria has been a great comfort since the passing of the fantastic Cielito Lindo(no surprise, since the two are somehow related). There seem to be too few places that know how to do Mexican cuisine. Howling Wolf is soooo salty(like drink glass after glass of water because you have osmotic thirst). Other places seem to lack any flavor at all — meaning you have to be inebriated to ‘enjoy’ the food. The burrito Patron at La Victoria is amazing. Amazing. I just wish it was a bit bigger, because I cut it in half and have dinner for two nights(btw, is reheats nicely, too). The guacamole and chips are delicious. The service is relatively fast(considering it is almost always busy) and the staff are nice.

I was lucky to beat the lunch crowd, but unlucky because they didn’t have any horchata. Regardless, the food came out piping hot and the tables were all clean so I had no qualms about sitting and eating a leisurely lunch of tortas and Jarritos. Hope to make some frequent visits to this great spot for a quick meal that doesn’t break the bank!

La Victoria has the absolute best Mexican food you will ever have! I personally get the pork carnitas burrito with everything added and get a side of chips and guacamole. The pork is so delicious I’m almost at a loss of words how to describe it. The guacamole is out of this world, so flavorful with chunky deliciousness. There is really no elaborate or elegant way I can describe the food. It’s orgasmic.(can I say that on Unilocal?Haha) I’ve come to La Victoria more times than I care to admit but if funds allowed I’d go every single day. I’ve checked in so much Unilocal send me a notification warning me that«burritos aren’t a food group», sassy but noted. Aside from the food which is already 5 stars the staff is ALWAYS friendly and efficient. Can I give them 10 stars? If you’re a usual chipotle goer you have been strayed soooo far away from decent food. Please walk away from the rubbery bland world of chipotle and introduce yourself to Victoria. She’s flavorful, fresh and so tasty(didn’t mean for that last comment to sound Hannibal-y) In short: Amazing food, amazing staff. You must go.

Easily the best Mexican on the north shore, possibly the greater Boston area. Tacos and tortas are the standouts here, leave the burritos to Chipotle. The guacamole is excellent, I just wish they’d provide a larger portion with the chips. It’s a small place and can fill up quick so be sure to go early or late. Not a place to go when you are starving and it’s prime lunch or dinner rush.

There are no words to describe how much I love the food here. I’m from Bermuda and so I’m only in town a few times a year but when I am this is one of my first stops! The tacos are literally the best I’ve ever had. The meat is so flavorful and the toppings are always fresh. The guac and chips are also to die for and the assortment of sodas finish off the experience. If you haven’t gone yet, you need to. Immadiately.

Fantastic authentic Mexican food. Great portions. Prices are just a bit steep but it’s still worth it. The only reason I knock off a star is because there is one employee who consistently messes up my order even after I repeat it and have him repeat it back which is pretty annoying. Can’t remember his name. OH! And the food seems to be better on the weekends.

I’ve been here 6 times in the past 2 months. They’re very good and very addicting. the as staff is so friendly and welcoming I love that and they remembered my order the second time I came:) I had an incident which Angelica was extremely apologetic for and offered to make up to me in any way possible which I really appreciated. the food is very authentic and delicious. it doesn’t look nearly as good as it tastes. and they’re always busy. they have indoor and outdoor seating. I will be returning regularly even after the incident because they handled it so well and the food is very good. I’ve also worked in service and I’m not a stuck up person who isn’t understanding, so I get that mistakes happen. as long as a business treats you right, and makes great food they should get your business.

Thumbs WAY up for La Victoria! I, like other Unilocalers, am very impressed with this place. I’ve been here a few times and have had the Choriqueso Torta once, and the Milanesa Torta twice. Both with chips and tasty salsa. These sandwiches are delicious! Each time on my first bite, I close my eyes for just a bit and chew slowly, so I can savor and appreciate the moment. The bread is the perfect combo of soft and crunchy, the meat is wonderfully marinated, and the toppings and sauces give it the right amount of flavor and punch that puts the cherry on top. As an added bonus, the prices are very reasonable for the explosion of taste and nice sized portions you receive. On a side note, do not walk in expecting a standard Mexican restaurant. This is primarily a sandwich place. But I must say, they’ve got some of the best darned sandwiches I’ve had in this area.

Good stuff. Nice looking restaurant. The woman at the counter is super friendly. They even let me try a sample of beef tongue, which was tender but I went in a different direction. My brother and his wife tried burritos which they liked. We all split a chicken quesadilla, and I had the Chorizo Torta which was really good! I definitely recommend it. I don’t live in the area, but I’ll come back. I don’t know of any Mexican places like this on the South Shore(hint hint). I can’t yet compare it to Angela’s in East Boston because I’ve only been once, but so far so good!
