This little pocket park has no amenities, except for a few benches and a fountain with no water in it. Speaking of which, it’s sad to see so many fountains in public spaces that are minus their water. I don’t know if it’s cost-cutting or water conservation, or both, that are the issue. But I no longer take wet fountains for granted, that’s for sure, cuz you never know when the water will disappear. Maltz Park does have a nice steel sculpture, and pretty landscaping. It’s welcome eye candy as you wait at the light at this heavily-travelled intersection, and that alone is worth 4 stars, at least.
