Great guy and great masseuse! One of those rare guys who cares and actually knows what he is doing. Meaning you feel better and he actually fixes problems.

I have been seeing Houston for nearly a year and all of my previous chronic back and neck pain had disappeared! I have had many massage therapists over the years but this is the first time I have had someone so consistently healing, helpful, and flexible. No matter what tweaks my body needs, Houston knows how to heal what ails me. I am so glad to have found him!

Houston has a fabulous combination of being highly technically skilled and also having a natural talent for healing. Before we started, we talked over my areas of concern and my massages preferences. I like deep tissue on my neck shoulders and back, I like lighter massage on my arms and legs. I love foot massage and scalp massage. He was more than happy to give me accommodate my desires. He welcomes feedback during the massage and gave me deeper pressure when I requested and lighter pressure when I requested. However, I didn’t have to give him too much direction because he intuitively gave me the right amount of pressure most of the time. I was able to get into a very deep state of relaxation, which is what I was hoping for — relaxational bliss! I definitely needed that.

Houston is amazing. From the first touch, I knew he was a professional. He used just the right amount of pressure and had me on the verge of deep sleep within minutes. When he was done, all my knots and stress were long gone. He’s also a great guy with a kind soul and friendly personality. I highly recommend him. I wish I lived closer because I’d be on his table every chance I could.

Houston is amazing! I have been dealing with severe hip flexor pain for months and after seeing Houston it totally changed everything. I can finally do all of my daily activities without enduring any type of pain. It’s almost like magic. Thank you so much Houston!

The positives: Houston was very nice and took me at the last minute when I had a friend in town.
The Negatives: I cannot vouch for the skills of either massage therapist. Both my friend and I are massage enthusiast, and my mom and brother are both massage therapist, so I have had A LOT of massages. I can honestly say that there was little to no technique used in the massage and I just felt like I was just being rubbed and prodded. My friend and I were both actually in pain after the massage and I had to make an appointment with my regular therapist the next day!
They put on some music at the start of the massage that was 90’s R&B and made me feel like I was at a sex shop. I asked if they had any ambient music and they were kind enough to change the music, but I was still disturbed that anyone would think 90’s R&B music would be appropriate for what is supposed to be a relaxing massage.
I got stuck with an $ 80 bill to boot.

As good as it gets for sure. Houston is skilled, intuitive, and simply put, wonderful at what he does. He’ll heal you. he has saved me many many times.

My hero! I’ve been having problems with my arms and hands. Houston knew what to do and he was right! Thank you! I’m back to work and back on my motorcycle! I’ll be back for more.

Houston has the best deep tissue massage skills for targeting chronic pain. If you have back problems and need rehabilitative massage work, Houston is your guy.

This gentleman has been very kind, the ambiance is like this; you enter in a Hair Salon and upstairs there is a massage room which is decorated so nicely and peaceful.
However the massage itself was not a type that I could name it.
I did not feel the efficiency of massage or the energy.
Plus it had been the most expensive massage I have ever had.

Best massage I have ever received! I got a massage with Houston earlier in the week and my stress and anxieties fell away, and stayed away. Houston is a wonderful, healing person. Restorative and relaxing! I took my husband back today and he also loved it. Definitely will be going back again!

Had the best massage! My upper neck and shoulder area had been so tensed from stress. I decided to look into a massage place and stumbled upon Houston. He is AMAZING! after an hour, my entire body felt so relaxed and those tensed areas were gone. Houston is of great positivity and that made it extra special for me.

I am currently over in Italy and I messaged Houston about a massage for my girlfriend. He is an amazing personable person and I trusted him enough to give him my debit card info through an email.
My girlfriend said she was drooling (literally) by how amazing her first ever real massage (not one by me) for 90 mins was. She said he hit a lot of target areas that have been bothering her and that she is still feeling amazing today.
I highly recommend him and when I am back from deployment overseas I will for sure be needing one and will be going to him.

So delighted to find a massage therapist based here locally in #dtla, so I didn’t have to drive or deal with parking issues. Houston from the get-​go was very respectful, making sure I was accommodated and situated. I opted for a 2 hour thai massage, and was pleasantly surprised because I can definitely attest to his healing touch. He wasn’t overly firm or soft — he had it just right. Almost like he was intuitive enough to know my sensitivity, which I didn’t let him know beforehand. He just did this thing and tuned in…
I left quite sedated. And quite satisfied.

Since my chiropractic massage therapist had retired, I was looking for a new massage therapist with strong hands. I sit a lot due to my job and end up with a lot of neck and shoulder tension as a result. I have to say Houston lived up to the 5 star reviews I read on here. He gave a thorough hour long massage and worked on my problem areas as I had instructed. He even texted me the next day to see how I was doing. He’s worth the money and the drive from Glendale.
P. S. Make sure you pay for parking at the lot near his place, that way your car doesn’t get towed.

This is hands down the most through massage I’ve gotten in quite some time.
I had been looking for a good masseur for a few months, and after trying a few places around Los Angeles, I opted to look a little closer to home (DTLA).
After stumbling across Spa2U on Unilocal,I decided to check it out since I’d been hitting the gym pretty hard over the last few weeks and my muscles were in desperate need.
Houston was more than accommodating — answering all of the questions I had prior to booking.
Once I got in and Houston started to work his magic I knew that I was in good hands — literally.
If I could afford to visit Houston after every workout I totally would. I left feeling both refreshed and invigorated.
I definitely recommend it to anyone in need.

So relaxing. I think I was drooling 10 mins in! Houston was fantastic and so effective. I went by to get relief for some jaw pain as a treat for my 30^th birthday. I did a 90 minute massage. He found stress areas I didn’t know I had– I thought my upper right shoulder was where I kept it but Houston found the other areas with ease and after a few hours, I am still so relaxed.
One tip: If you visit Houston downtown, pay for a lot!!! Don’t street park! I accidentally went over my meter and caught the tow truck carrying off my car… As a testament to Houston, I was so relaxed I barely put up a fight and just paid the stupid fine… that is what i get for not reading these damn LA signs and for trusting the meter…
Parking aside, the rates were competitive and the treatment effective. Highly highly recommend!!!
UPDATE: I have had NO jaw pain since I saw Houston, and my lower back (which I didnt even tell him was hurting because I wanted him to focus on the jaw) is also pain free! It used to hurt just to walk a block. So amazing! Thank you Houston.

I got my first massage from Houston a couple weeks ago and I swore I would never go anywhere else. Well, I was away for vacation and we all know how traveling is hard on the body and I am back in the hands of Houston. I have been counting down the minutes until my scheduled appointment.
Last time I had a 90-​minute massage and I am getting the same today. Just be warned, once you are in the hands of Houston, you will never want to see another masseuse! Not only is he a true professional and knows what he is doing, but he is very attentive and has a very intuitive touch. He knows what you need before you may even know it and he’ll work out any of those kinks and knots in your body. There is a reason he has a perfect rating.
