I Had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie Danine yesterday for a full weave at her location in Burbank. She took her time, which I appreciated and I can say this is definitely the flattest weave I have EVER received I enjoyed our conversation throughout And loved listening to her stories– Stephanie is not only affordable but you can tell she does this, because its her PASSION. Literally the best Sew In I havr ever had! Came in today for my second Install by Ms. Stephanie. My first install lasted pve three months and wasnt even grown out enough to take down! I only removed it because I was over thehair and the color. This time I am just as pleased as I was the first! XOXO

I cant tell you guys how happy I am to have found this woman! I have been looking for someone to give me that install that Ive been looking for and am always slightly dissapointed until now!

LOVE! I came to see Stephanie for my first sew in weave EVER. I’ve been wearing extensions (beads, glue, clips) for years, but I wanted to try something different. I have always loved how full and seamless sew in weaves looked so I figured I would give it a try. I purchased the $ 50 express weave deal. It was a partial weave, took about two hours, and Stephanie used about two packs of hair. I was really worried about the weave being too tight or uncomfortable because it was my first time. Stephanie was very open and told me to let her know if the braids were ever too tight or if I felt any pain and she would adjust. When it was all done, the braids were surprisingly very comfortable, not too tight, and I LOVE the way they look. Thanks, Stephanie!

So people think $ 160 – 200 is alot for a sew in??? Are u freaking kiddin me??? Her work is superb and just because she works at home doesn’t make her less of a stylist which btw she is in burbank in a upscale apartment complex where u have to be buzzed in — for anyone to say its too pricey since it’s not a salon, well id rather have a chill convo in a nice quiet environment then at a salon where it’s loud and full of people. I got a partial sew in and she did soooo amazing!!! my braids are tight but not to where i have headaches– again they’re supposed to be tight duh lol– anyway i will post a pic soon, she will now be my go to girl– sweetest person and 100 legit honest with u. She also cut my hair wich she didnt have to do — again she’s my to go girl now

The only thing I really liked about Stephanie was that she was able to take me on a day where she was supposed to be in Beverly Hills. I really appreciated her taking me anyways. Other than that, I wasn’t thrilled. I didn’t realize when walking in her home that I had already gone to her a year before. She did a good job back then but she braided so tight that I got BAD blisters on the back of my head. This time around, I was very shocked when she said she had never seen a frontal closure before. I would have imagined with her years of work, she would’ve known. She also braided too tight on the back of my head. It’s beginning to create blisters. I had to yank my baby hairs out of the braid to keep it from pulling. Overall, yes, she can do sew ins but she’s not the stylist for me.

First time ever weave…

So I’m back! Still loving my sew in! I just went to a color stylist to color the hair already on my head and they kept raving about how well done my hair was. Thank you Stephanie!!! Will definitely be going back to you!

Stephanie absolutely HANDS DOWN does the best hair in LA county. I have NEVER dealt with a more professional hair stylist before. She has given me the **exact result I’m looking for when I get my hair styled by her time and time again. The consistency is on FLEEK. Her services are **very** fairly priced and she is someone you can trust to keep her word and honor your appointments. My favorite thing to get from her is a flat iron/​press. My hair is naturally thick and coarse but she is able to get it SO sleek, that I literally get compliments for two weeks straight on how great my hair looks. Thank you Stephanie for being my AMAZING pro celebrity hairstylist and delivering every time. You will always have a loyal customer in me. :)

Absolutely amazing job. My hair looks amazing and I went from very short to very long. It’s been a couple weeks and it still feels new.

Seriously… BEYOND satisfied! I got a partial weave today and couldn’t be happier. Stephanie was very professional and asked questions through every step of the process. I was in and out in 2.5 hours. Braids just tight enough. Tracks are flat; no lumps. Without question, I’ll definitely will be back.

I am from Oregon and it’s near impossible to find anyone who knows black hair and is reasonably priced. I had been considering a sew in for a long time and after several months decided to go for it while I was down visiting friends. I had never had one and knew nothing about them but I found Stephanie on Unilocal and my friends were very concerned about me going to her since its in her apartment and you are not allowed to bring anyone with you. I decided to go for it and she fit me in with little notice! I only bought 2 bundles and she very creatively made it work and I got tons of compliments! She’s very reasonable and flexible and had my sew in for 3 months and the braids held up nicely. Highly recommend!

Okay so it’s been about 2 months and long story short I was getting my weave pulled from left to right and it’s still in! #Keepitintight

So this is overdue! Stephanie is great! Super professional which is hard to find in LA. She has her video that answers all your questions & is very efficient with her time. She runs her business like clock work which I like a lot and when you’re in her chair, you are her only focus, unlike other places that juggle you and 3 others at the same time! Nightmare! :-0 Her weaves lay nice and flat, no bulk even though my own hair is very long and it’s last 3 good months. Very glad I found her & you will be too

Stephanie was awesome! She was able to fit me in on the exact day and time that I needed. She was extremely professional. The braids weren’t tight at all but yet very secure. Hands down, best sew in I’ve ever had. I would definitely work with her again.

I have been looking for someone who can do a great sew-​in and I found that in Stephanie. I needed to get a full sew-​in with a closure for an upcoming shoot and I had not been able find anyone that I felt confident enough in their ability to take a chance. Her website offered great insight into her methods and personality; so I decided to give it a go. Luckily, she was able to fit me on short notice (the next morning) and gave me very detailed instructions on how to get to her place and what to expect. I can respect a business woman who knows what her time and effort are worth and I promise you she is worth every penny!
I have really short hair that is not all the same length, even though I forgot to mention that I was missing hair on the sides she was able to give me exactly what I wanted and then some. My hair turned out amazing and I left her place feeling confident and excited about my shoot. I will be a repeat customer! Thank you Stephanie

Stephanie is the best hairstylist I’ve ever been to. She is very professional and amazing at what she does. I always go for the flat iron press because they are the absolute best. She gets it BONE STRAIGHT, like better than a relaxer on my natural hair. Even though i workout a lot, my hair still lasts for weeks. I’m a very pleased and happy repeat customer. SUPER affordable prices too!

Stephanie did a great job. It was my very first sew-​in ever in my life… I got a full sew-​in. Didn’t know about closures and what not but she created a closure with the hair I had. She is very friendly and passionate in her craft. My hair lasted 3 months and could have gone longer but I just have to get it redone.

Stephanie did a great job on my hair! She squeezed me in super last minute and was extremely professional. Braids were tight, and she took the time to make sure she understood what I wanted before diving in. I will definitely come back to her and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a good sew in for a reasonable price.

Can’t knock the hustle. I decided to come to Stephanie since I was in a pinch and needed my hair done. Stephanie’s extensions are reasonably priced and it is fairly easy to get an appointment with her. Her hair salon is her living room. Not the fanciest place, but she does get the job done and that’s what really counts.
Still, I have a few issues… First is the «no texting» policy. She refuses to text clients at all, not even to confirm an appointment. It can be very frustrating when you have things to do. Second, she is not a full service salon. Forget about getting your hair washed, or styled. She only does extension installs, so you’ll need to go elsewhere to get your hair styled or cut.
Lastly, when you arrive at her complex, she instructs you to call her when you are at the call box and she directs you through all the twists and turns throughout her apartment building. I admit I’m not the best with directions, so on my second visit, I asked her to come down and get me from the front gate. She flat out refused. That was kinda the last straw for me as customer service is huge in my book. I guess I’ll have to pay out some extra mullah to get pampered and sip champagne while I get my extensions *flips hair.*
