The Cinghiale(rigatoni with wild boar ragu) is amazing! I have had it 3 times now, it has been consistently amazing. The pappardelle noodles are cooked to perfection and the overall flavor of the dish is super addictive, I crave this dish every day. I also have had the caprese salad and the Caesar salad, both standard but very good. The service has always been nice too, prompt and professional. FYI, they told me this dish would be big enough to split, but I definitely need the whole dish to myself.

What a nice surprise! I must’ve driven by this place a thousand times and never noticed it. Wonderful Italian restaurant runs by actual Italians. Great service and delicious food. Pastas all looked excellent. I myself had a veal saltimbocca which was served in an authentic way with steamed veggies and some mashed potatoes. While other restaurants prepare this dish in a heavy way, this was done as they do in Italy. I loved it and this restaurant specializes in veal dishes and homemade pastas. For dessert we shared a lemon meringue tartlette and loved it. We will return!

They will always try to accommodate getting us a table and usually we’re seated quite quickly. The food is excellent. Getting your food is another story. There is generally a friendly maî·tre d’ but all that person does is meet and greet. There are many busboys and water-pourers(too much of this for drought-ridden Los Angeles) but only two people taking orders. And thus the wait can be painfully slow. Assuming the kitchen can keep up, they could turn 50% more tables than the do with just one more waiter, and patrons would be much happier. We gave often chosen to forgo dessert because we had waited so long to order and then to receive our food that the thought of enduring the same punishing wait time was too much. This Drago restaurant could be so much more…

This place is awesome! Service, food, wine and ambiance are all spot on. This place will make your palate happy and stomach on point! I ordered a 1997 red and 2001 red, both of which blew my mind! You need to listen to the waiters suggestions, especially if you get Patrick! He was on point! For apps, we got ravioli burrata and spinach ravioli, both phenomenal. Very different, so please clear your pallet between. I got the lamb for my main course and it was so freaking amazing!!! I would recommend going here no questions asked, just do it!!!

well, I’m sure a lot of the price has to do with the astronomical rent these people are likely paying for the space, which is designed quite nicely. It’s a well appointed bar, and I love that they made efforts to avoid mass produced brands in the waters and other items they serve… and speaking of service, the staff was professional and courteous. Also… the quality of the pasta they produce is excellent, as is their bread… They do a good job of following the Italian mantra of being ingredient focused… frankly, the only reason why I am hesitant in giving the establishment 5 stars is that the seasoning and execution of the dishes on our table was a little off. We did come during the lunch rush though. It was very good and I will happily come back, but the place is just a few touches away from truly being an elevated experience.

Simple food, good quality. The room is small but comfy. I got there for dinner 4 – 5 times already, got the calamari fritti and the ravioli di vitello and some other pasta dishes I don t recall the name. I will not go there with friends for dinner as the ambiance is a bit dusty and dishes are everything but original, but it s a safe value if your in the neighborhood and looking to grab a quick pasta meal.

We spent our valentines dinner here. Its our first time to be here so it was pretty exciting to try their dishes. Since we had a reservation, our seat has been special. We ordered the calamari for appetizer. Their dip were very good. Since we were unfamiliar on their wine menu, we get the ones we think is good. I ended up ordering what they call Rose on Reds. Its between Reds and Whites actually. Both in one and the Merlot of course. Our full course meal has been extraordinary with Pasta Alfredo and Lobster pasta too. We wanted to skip desert but since its our first time, we tried her sherbet. Overall, it was definitely an evening to remember and will absolutely go back. It was an excellent service. Valet was so fast and up ahead, we got out of the place and the car is already ready. No more wait.

The lasagna is excellent(the sauce rocks)! The bad side is that they do not serve it as a regular menu item every night. We shared a arugula salad with mozzarella and some other really good items. It was a bit small for the price but was good as well. The server was personable and did a good job. Overall Piccolo Paradiso was a good experience. We will be back.

I was expecting my father, and we were supposed to have dinner, keep in mind i haven’t seen him in like 7 years, and yes he is demanding with food, I am demanding with food(meaning :we don’t care how pretty is your place, how many magazines put you in the cover, or food critics, if your food is mediocre. we are going to say it) Anyways, i did not know a place around his hotel, and someone there recommended it. I was apprehensive, I haven’t had good experiences with Italian in So Cal. I was nervous, that the food was not good, I did not want to start the visit with a bad experience. Because he prefers to go to Europe that here the US. So he came JUST to see me(or he says so). We got in, I thought«Gosh probably would be overpriced and a tourist trap, overpriced and with mediocre food, and he would be saying all the time, I am just here for You, even with«this“food«Too much pressure. I am so happy to say that we had a really great meal. My father ordered the ossobucco, which was excellent. I ordered some gnocchi, and we had some small plates to share.
And even I was in fear, I was so happy when the minute I entered i heard italian(i even practice a little(My father goes to Italy a lot we have ben in really good places, and chefs, so not easy, we like our pasta al dente and not FDA overcooked. he is Italian now, and he goes to this gastronomic tours!, and in my home country we had a pretty good places). And I secretly call him«The gastro snob»(well he keeps telling you, all those wonderful places he went to eat last time he was here and there, and saying well» you have to go and try it»(Well If you pay for my ticket, OFCOURSE!!!) The recommendations were right on the money. And now I am recommending the place to some Angelenos friends that never know about Italian places. I am glad that the restaurant we pick randomly were just so perfect… And i love my waiter! And my father was very happy with his meal! And I am finally could go to a good Italian restaurant, and not be in FEAR!

Piccolo Paradiso’s threshold transforms everyone, yes everyone, into family. Enter an intimate dining room where you’ll be lulled to relax, take perhaps your first deep breath of the day then proceed to be impeccably, graciously cared for. Seated close to others is no problem because you’re family now, coming together to eat well; share a unique dining experience. You’ll smile back and forth, perhaps speak, or not. Wine? Cocktail? What do you want? We ordered, shared, sipped over the next two hours, a bottle of Pinot Grigio because this nearly last September day still felt like summer. Food? What do you want? Creatively culled classic menu plus specials, no worries you’ll zero in on your own or with a little help from your professional, knowledgeable server. Still sharing, we wisely split the Insalatina Di Campo — baby mixed greens, balsamic vinaigrette — so as not to feel guilty about ordering dessert. Scallop Risotto, a special, for my friend. Tender scallops graced perfectly prepared subtly seasoned risotto. Neither ingredient overpowered the other, pure harmony. Ravioli Di Vitello — veal filled ravioli, porcini sauce for me. So savory I regret leaving that one medallion behind, still dreaming about it, how this dish filled my senses but alas, I was anticipating dessert. Dessert. Tiramisu — ladyfingers soaked in espresso and mascarpone for my friend and Strawberry Gelati Misti(Italian ice cream) for me. A slow food evening cultivating conversation, partaking fabulous fare, not thinking about tomorrow, like a stolen vacation day, week, month… Self-park in the #2 Lot above Al’s Newsstand or valet. Residential parking allows one hour only without permit.

I usually never venture out of the Triangle when I eat in Beverly Hills but boy am I glad I went south a little bit and discovered this part of Beverly Blvd. Street parking is a bit to find but there are so many restaurants and eateries up and down this street. This restaurant is a hidden gem! It was not too busy during Friday night and we had the option of dining inside or outside. After we sat down, the waiter with a thick Italian accent immediately came to our service and brought us our drink and food menus. You know an Italian restaurant is authentic when the waiters are Italian. My friend and I settled on a bottle of California Merlot that was pronounced«Ferrari» for $ 48. It was a smooth and enjoyable wine, but I am definitely an expert on Reds(or wines in general). The texture and taste was very smooth The bread was quickly served with olive oil and you can grate some fresh pepper. It was so good, and piping hot as it just came out of the oven. The outside is crispy and inside soft. It took us a while to decide on our food, we were a bit overwhelmed deciding between the entrees they offered or to build our own pasta! You heard it right, this restaurant lets you pick the kind of pasta you want and then your own sauce. One thing though, they did not offer ragu, as it was my friend’s favorite sauce. Here is what we ordered Minestrone soup– I don’t get minestrone soup much in restaurants but this is one good soup! There are sharp flavors of celery and the broth, but it all blended very well together. This is coming from a person who does not even like celery that much. Capelletti in Brodo– Prosciutto stuffed tortellini parmesan in chicken broth. we wanted to try this because it is typically different from anything we have tried before. The tortellini is small and cute and every bit is ever so delicious. The chicken broth is tasty especially with freshly ground pepper to give it a little kick. Rigatoni Bolognese — This was my friend’s dish but I tried some bites and it is cooked so well. The best part is how the pasta is cooked perfectly al dente, he like the way it was cooked more than the sauce. Risotto Venezia(Squid ink risotto) — I love anything squid ink, and I have had squid ink risottos at a couple of restaurants famous for it but this is by far the best one yet. The portion is extremely generous, almost every little bit you pick at with your spoon, you will be sure to get some squid, scallops and shrimp. There is also plenty of the squid ink sauce so every bit will be delicious and flavorful. We tried our best to finish it but just could not stuff down the last few bites. Prices are very reasonable considering its beverly hills and the service is great. Our waters were filled quickly and our bread basket filled without us even noticing. We are already planning to come back some time in the future to try out the rest of the menu.

I wish i could give this place more stars. The maitre d’ is a sweetheart and always takes care of us. The food is consistently phenomenal and for a good italian restaurant in beverly hills the prices are not unreasonable. My mom always gets the lobster pasta, which is to die for. My new favorite is the tuna carpaccio(if you get it for lunch the salad portion is a bit bigger). And for desert i always find it hard to decide between the tiramisu and the affagato, because both are so yummy. I eat here usually once or twice a week, but wouldnt mind eating here every day.

I was in-between appointments with my four year old in tow. Her request, ‘pasta’. For me, healthy but savory. We found out perfect match. The resturant was empty and since I was pressed on time, I knew this would be our best option. Service was great, food was wonderful. The salad photoed here was recommended by the waiter and was not disappointing. I’ve since been craving this salad and look forward to returning soon!
