Chicken Tikka Masala was excellent… flavorful, right amount of spice and perfectly cooked rice. We also had the coconut shrimp curry which was fishy and bland. The naan was good too. The Nash with cheese was tasty but a bit limp. and non descript. It’s a very quiet restaurant. Small and few diners. For dessert, we had the pistachio ice cream.pass. It came as a very hard disc and had a bit of an odd creamy coconut flavor.

Awesome little gem inside this boutique hotel. You definitely don’t have to stay here to eat here. The ambiance is super chill, and the food is soooo good that I can’t believe the place is almost empty. This would be a great place to bring someone for a first date. They have valet parking and nearby street parking. Service is great, Jason and Sean will take care of you at the bar. Try it!

I am hesitant to publicize this secret. It is a great spot for a quiet dinner or drink. I actually discovered this by accident. The meal and drinks were great. After sampling the place, I knew the atmosphere was just what I was looking for to hold a birthday party there on a Saturday night. The original plan for the party was to have it a popular bar/restaurant and hope to have a few tables reserved. While I notified P. S. of my plan to invite 25 guests, I really didn’t make a reservation. The 25 guests resulted in P. S. having more people at one time than they have probably seen in a long time. They handled«the crowd» perfectly. All my guests enjoyed the intimacy of the beautiful restaurant/bar and remarked about the presentation and quality of the food, I think 2 other tables were taken up during our gathering. I hope we did not bother them; and they did not affect the private affair we felt we were having. You are more likely to be sharing the place with just one or two other tables. So whether its just the 2 of you, or a group(I would not test more than 25) you are going to get great attention, food and drink. You have to try their espresso martini. While I have no idea what the rooms in the hotel are like, i suspect a guest looking for boutique hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills will be very please. P.S will always be my secret go to spot in Beverly Hills.

The food here is really good. I like to order it to go and they do a great job packing it up for me. It only takes 15 minutes to make and I have never been disappointed. I really like the samosas, Chana, dal, tofu masala, cauliflower subji, and the mint chutney. Will come here again and recommend to all my friends.

The lobby of the Sirtaj Hotel is so lovely, so calm, so interesting and quite beautiful. The restaurant is as pretty as one could be — both inside and outside. It is colorful and relaxing and quiet and has an Indian décor. The first time we had dinner there, the food was just excellent — each dish! We were four people — we each ordered something different — tasted each other’s food and wanted to eat everything! The second time we were at the Sirtaj for dinner, the food was just as excellent — with every single dish cooked to perfection! What we all liked so much — aside from the food and the ambience — is that it is very quiet and there is no rush to eat and get out! We stayed talked and eating and relaxing for over three hours and there wasn’t a moment when we felt that it was«time to go.» The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly and couldn’t have been more accommodating. The prices are fair considering the amount of work and taste involved. It’s a real little oasis in Beverly Hills — a hidden jewel. We know people who have stayed at the hotel and said that while the rooms are small, they are so delightfully decorated that it’s a pleasure to stay there. I have a friend who will book a room there soon and I’m anxious to see what he thinks of it! In the meanwhile, we’ll have dinner with him there and continue to invite friends to join us from time to time for a most delicious dinner!

The service was not perfection as the Latina waitress did not know much about Indian food or their own menu items. She had not tried the food herself and I wouldn’t trust her judgement either. It was pulling teeth a little but not her fault. The restaurant should educate the staff. But the ambiance was beautiful(I want a bar like that at home), street parking for an hour was free, The food was tasty and well-portioned and frankly very affordable. A bowl of Strew that came with basmati rice for $ 8 – 9 was enough to feed one person. Naan bread was $ 2. At Anarbagh, you pay $ 14 for a similar stew with no rice, rice and naan are each $ 4 – 5. The mushroom curry was awesome and yes, creamy, as it should be though. Why don’t these places have mint tea? I have that over soft drink any day. They also had beer and a full bar none of which Anarbagh has at the moment. Will be coming back very soon. Note: Indian food is fattening! For less fattening vegetarian food, try finer Italian places nearby like Il Pastaio, Da Pasquale etc.
