I LOVELOVELOVE this place! I was introduced to Natalee Thai one night while meeting up for dinner with a few of my ex-coworkers and I completely fell in love with the food! I’ve been back quite a few times since then. For starters, I always start by ordering a Piña Colada(they serve it in a cute fake coconut and spruce it up with a cute umbrella and maraschino cherries). You cant visit Natalee’s and NOTGET a piña colada, you just can’t! As an appetizer, you MUST try the Thailand Shrimp Cake(Amazing!) Don’t be fooled by the name. It’s only a figure of speech for a shrimp patty(deep fried) and just so delicious tasting! For my main course, I ALWAYS order the Pad Thai with just shrimp. Sooooo good! Yesterday was my first time trying out the dessert and I ordered the Fried Banana, it was honestly the BEST I’ve ever had.

Excellent food with the freshest ingredients. Tasty and flavorful. The best Thai in the neighborhood. Parking is limited in a small lot. Nice, casual atmosphere. Friendly staff and quick delivery. Highly recommend. Favorite dishes include pad see ew and ruby curry.

I just ordered the pad see ew beef to go and it is delicious. I enjoyed every single bite. I was so full and wanted more because it was so good! Excellent dish and great service. This is definitely my new Thai spot.

Ordered a vegetarian item the maha jumlong from their vegetarian menu. It’s not vegetarian. Just be careful. The food here is really good but I dont like that this had fish in the broth and that they don’t tell you. Be warned.

A very nice looking casual Thai restaurant with a full bar. Average service, friendly waitress. Prices are fair for the area and parking spaces are limited. I ordered my favorite, Pad See Ew with beef. It was a good sized portion, with pretty lean pieces of beef. Greasy noodles but good, Chinese cabbage for a change(my usual place serves it with broccoli). The ground chicken salad was tasty and light. I loved the fresh lime juice, but crunch of the toasted rice is unsettling. It was too crunchy to be nut pieces. They actually tasted like bone shards. Please remove them because otherwise it’s a great salad. My friend’s papaya salad tasted like it looked: nothing noteworthy. If I were in the area and wanted Thai I would come back.

Food is pretty good. Ordered $ 40 worth of take out and the size of the portions was very very small. I don’t think I would order here again just based on that.

I was away in Hong Kong for a few months. One of the first things I did was come back to Natalee Thai! Still the best Thai food in LA! Prices are extremely reasonable. And of course still the best Absolute Vodka martini! Now in my 16th year of coming here! The NortheasternThai Sausage is to die for!

The Big portion of pad see ew with chicken was pretty good! Despite what the Unilocal menu says, it’s served with bok choi, NOT Chinese broccoli. Bok choi is a little bitter, and broccoli would have been better. It’s not a once-off happening, because another reviewer noticed the same thing.(Hard to judge a place based on pad see ew, but the taste was good and my friends have never complained about anything else they’ve gotten). I’ve ordered take-out from here a number of times, and now I’ve finally sat down in the restaurant. It’s a lovely place, but I don’t think the building originally intended this spot to be a restaurant because of the funky design. Free parking for Natalee Thai customers(it’s on the sign, but not too noticeable).

The place makes you feel sophisticated. The modern detail includes a selection of liquors, popular music, and a beautiful waterfall in the wall. The lighting is very pretty and the décor is geometric. I love it. The fresh flowers are a nice touch, and go well with the black and blue color scheme. The food if very good! Don’t eat too much because you’ll have to save some room for the plates your family will pass around. The average dining style is to order everything you like then share it with your company. However, the restaurant is very open and liberal. The staff are so kind and helpful. It is definitely a go-to take out spot and is very flexible when it comes to getting in and out. The spacing is nice, so have a seat and enjoy a drink while you wait. The hospitality is roomy and absolutely spot on!

Ordered Pad Thai and beef skewers. Eesh. Very little meat in the Pad Thai. No big deal. But the steak does NOT look or taste like cow. And I’m an expert on all things cow. It was slimy, light in color, weird texture. You do the math. We used to order from here quite a bit as it was affordable and the food was decent. No más. Entire order blew.

I ordered this to go and then was a bit taken aback when I saw the B rating on their front window. Regardless, I enjoyed my spicy eggplant with soft tofu and brown rice. For something called spicy, the dish needed more spice but I still enjoyed the well cooked eggplant. I would say it is on the pricier side with my dish costing about $ 12 if you add in the additional charge from brown rice and tofu. The inside is really nice and was surprisingly well occupied for 1pm on a Sunday. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but it wasn’t horrible. Parking in the area was super easy too.

Never eating here again. I used to like the cuisine. Today, I ordered a shrimp wonton soup w no chicken and extra Bön Choy. I’ve seen maybe a small bug or 2 in soups before because sometimes they get caught in the vegetables. But today, there were at least 10 tiny bugs in my soup! I’m pretty sure they were little bugs and not spice because they had little heads and legs! This could either be from the container stored in a dusty area or from the vegetables not being washed well. Either way, this was gross!!! I couldn’t finish eating the soup, once the bug count number went beyond 10! They were tiny but still gross! Never coming back!

Customer service is LACKING. Ordered for delivery with the rest of the people in my office. They called back saying they didn’t have what I ordered which was the half bbg chicken lunch special. I asked them for sweet and sour chicken but to include the side salad and steamed white rice which are included in the lunch special items. The guy on the phone refused to include it bc «the sweet and sour chicken doesn’t come with rice and salad» and tried to make me order those as a la carte sides and when I refused, he tried to convince me to order a different lunch special item. «We have beef and broccoli» «I don’t eat beef» «Then you can get the ground chicken lunch special» «No, I don’t want that» For the inconvenience of them not having what I ordered, they couldn’t even go out of their way to provide some free white rice and side salad for a menu item that cost more than what I wanted to initially get. How much does a small side of white rice and iceberg lettuce salad cost?! $ 1?! Nope, instead, they just try to make me more money to buy the sides separately. They’ve lost a customer…

This is our go-to place for delivery, I haven’t been to the restaurant so this is based on take-out only. The food is always very good, we usually order the California Curry, Pad Thai or Beef Penang; the meat is always tender and the flavor in the sauce is delicious. We often have the spring rolls as an appetizer but I finally tried the ribs — wow! they were great too, lots of meat and it was so tender it practically fell off the bone. If only my stomach was bigger so I could keep eating… Highly recommended.

Food: 4 stars Wait time for delivery: 0 stars Wait time for pick-up at restaurant: 0 stars Service: 2 stars Likelihood of my returning: 5% I ordered delivery online for work, I was told by eat24 it would take 60 – 90 minutes. It took over 2 hours. The delivery woman forgot half the food in her car, so once it came I waited another ten minutes while she got it. Now people at work wanted natalee again, the delivery estimate was again an incredibly long wait time(1HR45 mins!) I offered to pick it up, restaurant said 30 minutes. It has been an hour. I am still waiting at the restaurant for this food. No one apologized for the DOUBLED wait time. I need to get back to work. I asked someone eating a meal here how long his food took, he said five minutes. Go figure. I never, ever want to come back here. Life is too short.

Pad was A good portion of chicken and shrimp. It also had a nice peanut finish and it was overall solid. It tasted like standard pad Thai and he didn’t overwhelm me and make me think wow this is the best pad Thai I’ve ever had(hence the 4 stars). What I come back and get it again sure. What I tell all my friends it’s the best Thai food in LA no, but it’s a solid place to eat. The volcano is a great drink if you have 2 – 4 people. The server was extremely nice and explained that she would make the drink ensure that it had great portions of liquor — and she did. It came to our table with the middle one fire(see pictures). The drink was great. Couple that with the solid food portion of pad Thai and you have a highly enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend for anyone.

Friendly staff, flavorful food, great mood lighting/ambiance. The coconut milk soup had a lot of flavor. Very tasty! Be careful not to chew on the mini green chili peppers in the soup(unless having your mouth on fire is your thing). The BBQ Thai Pork is an excellent choice here. FYI– steamed rice is not included with any of their entrees.

Unfortunately, the food wasn’t great. The waitress told us that most of the curry dishes could not be made on the less spicy side. The curry dish we ordered was mostly water. It looked like soup. You had to dig into the water to find any meat and vegetable. The service was just okay. If you let the waitress know it’s someone’s birthday– you think that they might bring you a complimentary dessert as a nice gesture. Not at this restaurant. Parking is limited. Very few spots considering the other stores in the shopping center.

The only good thing about this place was the coconut milk they use in their soup. Other than that, we ordered a noodle dish(mediocre) and a Korean grilled steak-which was all fat that was just seared and lacked flavor. Our server was incredibly rude and acted like we were a burden rather than paying customers. To top it all off, the moron of a valet driver hit another car on his way to bringing our car to us, a whole 30 feet away.

Their BBQ Pork!!! Oh my goodness it was so good — I was actually really impressed! Their fried rice and curry are good but wow the BBQ pork is so amazing and on point. Went down there a couple nights ago and the wait staff were really courteous and checked on us regularly to make sure everything was okay. Boxing the leftover for us was also very nice(I know it is not a big deal but it was just nice lol). We also ordered their Tom yum chicken soup — it was definitely on the spicy side of things but worth it(could not finish it in one sitting because we were weak in handling spicy things … we tried). Overall, it was a great experience!

This is a date restaurant at night. I ordered papaya salad with padek or raw blue crab but they said they didn’t have that kind. So I tried whatever is that they have. It’s ok, the sauce is good. The service is excellent. It’s a fusion or Americanized Thai food as what they call it. If you are craving for a Thai style cooking This is not the place. I recommend this place for romantic dinner.

Ok, so a friend and I ordered from this place. We got the pad thai, and the closest thing that looked like hot and sour soup on the menu, but was definitely not close. The pad thai came cold and clumped together. And the soup was not what we were looking for but it was still good. Why was our pad thai so cold? I would understand if we lived far and it cooled down on the delivery, but our soup was scorching hot. I decided to rate it 3 starts instead of my intended 2 because I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, that my order only sucked because it was delivered. Don’t think I will be trying it again for a very long time.

I can tell this is going to be my new favorite Thai delivery spot. I always judge a Thai place on whether or not they can make a solid Pad Thai dish. If you mess up Pad Thai, then frankly I’m worried. Anyway, flavors were on point and they provided plenty of limes and shrimp. Delivery was pretty fast through Eat24, and they only have a $ 10 delivery minimum, which is great if you’re ordering for one. Natalee Thai has gained my trust, so I’ll be back to order some other dishes soon :)

There are several Natalee outlets, and they’re all sort of unique and modern. Considering this one’s in a little strip mall, it’s easy to overlook it(and I have, a hundred times, as I’ve driven up and down Robertson Blvd.). But once parked in the hamster spaces underground, the place is much bigger than it appears from the street. There’s even a little bar. They do a great job with Thai food. Authentic? Who cares. It’s tasty, well prepared, and looks great. The big find: bounteous lunch specials for under $ 8.95! You can get half a BBQ chicken, or ¼ chicken and two meaty BBQ ribs. We actually sort of gasped, as the portions were large for the money, and they come with rice and a good-looking green salad. My only gripe? The lunch specials menu only has about 5 items, with no noodles, rice dishes or curries offered. At the same time, the ribs and chicken was a tough deal to beat around here. Dying to try it for dinner.
