I was walking by the store when my 9 month old indicated that she needed to nurse. I walked into Michael Kors and asked if I could use a dressing room to nurse her before we shopped. The female sales associate looked at the male manager who said no, because they only have one available dressing room. The female associate then suggested that I go to Starbucks and use the bathroom there(how terribly ignorant to suggest that I feed my child in a public bathroom — does she eat her lunch in a Starbucks bathroom???). Then I said, «I understand you only have one dressing room right now, I just need 5 minutes». There was NOONE in the store — 0 people. The manager said«Sorry, we need to keep it open for someone who might come in to shop.» I was a Michael Kors client(in fact I was wearing one of their watches while speaking with them), but I will NEVER be a client again. I will also share this on every Facebook mommy group I am a part of.

I think people assume that a store on Rodeo Drive is going to have salespeople who are rude or indifferent. I have been to Michael Kors several times and have dealt with the manager, Jay who couldn’t be friendlier and took the time to help me himself. I spent a good hour there and he never made me feel rushed or pressured. I had a wonderful shopping experience and it may be unusual for the manager to help you personally but I felt as if I was shopping with a friend, although one who knew the line inside and out. He was honest when I asked his opinion and could have easily tried to sell me more but sensed what I wanted and left with some amazing pieces. Michael Kors is known for luxury and beautifully tailored classic pieces. The store reflects that but most importantly, Jay sets the tone for the customer to have the best possible service and is a hands on manager who truly strives for nothing less.

The snootiness described in the reviews here is pretty much what I expected, but thankfully it is NOT what I experienced! I’m sure the sales lady sized me up upon entering the store and trust me, I wasn’t dressed as if I could afford anything in there, but to her credit she greeted me, asked if she could help, and did help me find the right bag for me! I told her I needed to walk on it and consider whether or not that was ‘my’ bag and I’m sure she thought she’d never see me again. When I returned about 30 minutes later for another look, she welcomed me back and gave me plenty of time and space to ponder. Christine was a pleasure to work! And by the way, I had kiddos with me too!

Like the other reviewers, I was 100% profiled when I walked in to this MK store(with an expensive MK bag!) the two men working in the store completely ignored me even though I was the only person in there. Neither said hello, asked if I needed help, or said goodbye. I understand that Beverly Hills is a touristy spot but I’ve gotten better customer service at the DMV. I will never go into this store again. Those two men were incredibly rude and judgmental. I am writing a complaint to management as well as this review. Shoppers beware! Maybe if you go in there flashing wads of cash they’ll pay attention to you.

Management was unbelievably rude here. Not attentive. Nor helpful. They just stand there talking and talking. And trying on the merchandise. They size people up here up and down. I definitely will not come here or shop here AGAIN.

Awesome customer service! I was helped as soon as I walked in the store. Another employee kept me company as my purchase was being prepared for me in the back!

I went to Michael Kors for the first time at Santa Monica, ca. They have the WORST customer service… When I walked in NO one greet me or ask me if I needed help. Top of all that I wanted to see some rings and a rude manager did not move her clip board and did even ask me if I wanted to see any of the rings… I will NEVER go back there.

Went back to the store in early January and was greeted by a sales girl who gave the biggest fake smile possible. She looked at me really funny cause I had my two boys and my two nieces. She was glaring at us. Even my oldest niece picked up on it. So over Beverly Hills Michael Kors. The one in Santa Monica is so much better.

This Michael Kors is OK. There was hardly a selection of hand bags at this location, so if you’re looking for bags, you’ll have to look elsewhere. The one person who helped me at this store was nice, but felt like he was only nice when he knew I was going to buy something. I’ll probably go to another Michael Kors if I want to buy something from that line.
