Makeup By Larise

After 15 years, Larise continues to be the best for me. Her artistic eye and talent never ceases to amaze me. I am always stopped to get her information when it comes to my makeup and eyebrows. True talent!

There are many make up artists in Los Angeles but I can say with confidence that Larise is one of the best!!! I went to her 15 years ago for my engagement and wedding, she was amazing, and now I went to her for another big event in my life and she was as amazing as before! Thank you Larise!

I came to Larisse for my engagement and another wedding I went to. I love the way she did my eyes. She did a great job.

Larise’s work is simply amazing. In a word, I would describe her work as «perfection.»
Let’s start from the beginning. For years I looked for a makeup artist who could give me a dramatic yet classy looking makeup application, and time after time I was disappointed with the end-​result from other artists. This was until I met Larise. From the first time she did my make up, I was hooked. She knows exactly what style of make-​up will flatter your features the best, and every time she does my make up, I get countless compliments the entire night. What I love most about Larise is that I never need to tell her what to do. Each time I come in, I simply show her a picture of the dress/​outfit I will be wearing that night, and she handles it from there. And each time, without exception, she creates the most perfect look… so perfect that I am sad to take it off at the end of the night because I feel that I am ruining a masterpiece! Her work is truly one of a kind.
Aside from her profound makeup skills, I also have great respect for the way Larise runs her business. She makes it a priority to keep her appointments running on time so that she does not make any of her clients wait. That is a HUGE plus when you’re going to an event and want to finish your hair/​make up by a certain time. Larise goes above and beyond to make sure your appointment starts at the correct time.
Last but not least, Larise is just genuinely an amazing person. I have been going to her for years and I just truly enjoy talking to her and feeding off of her positive energy.
I recently got married and of course I used Larise. She made me feel like a complete princess on my wedding day. The moment I arrived, she greeted me with a warm smile, a hug, and breakfast (wow!). Then throughout the make up application and hair styling, she took pictures of me so that I could make an album documenting the morning of my wedding. What makeup artist does all this? Needless to say, I was EXTREMELY pleased with my makeup and hair on my wedding day, and Larise’s warm and loving attitude just made my day even more special and really started the day off on an extra positive note.
In a nut shell, if you’re looking for an extremely talented make up artist who is also genuinely an amazing person, look no further… Larise is your woman.

Came here yesterday for my makeup and eyelash extentions. It was close to closing time and she was still able to see me. I had called so many places. It’s a Sunday and most were closed. Her work was good. My husband even complimented my makeup. She is now my new go to for makeup.

She does an amazing job on makeup. So natural and beautiful. I hate it when they pile it on like your a clown. She really is an artist. Thank you so much.

When I first went there for a friend getting her make up done, I found Laris extremely impatient about hearing her out for 10 seconds when she was twllingher what she likes and what she doesn’t like. C’mon! Everyone has preferences. Hear people out and then give suggestions. Don’t role your eyes, don’t sigh and look away, don’t stop people talking, and don’t give them attitude.
BUT I have her the benefit of the doubt: maybe she’s tired, maybe people are loud here, maybe she’s having a bad day.
So we go there for the main event and now that she knows we’re stuck with her, she’s all the above X10… Now to the point that she screams at us… Waving her hand in the air, why we didn’t bring 5 other people with us!
She should realize that she’s getting paid to do what the customers ask. She cannot shut people up, make them feel stupid, and offend them like there’s no tomorrow. She’s not allowed to send people out with tears… She just is not…
If I could give less than 1 star I would’ve. She ruins your day, no matter how happy and bubbly you are! Yes she does. And I’m telling you, it’s not worth the try. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and I regret it immensely. SO many great make up artists in town. Check Christoph salon on Beverly Drive. Same price.
I see her rating has gone up since last year. She’s either changed her attitude (fantastic, if true), or she’s offering clients some discount if they leave a good review (which I’ve seen many businesses do).
