Lukaro Salon & Spa

I’ve been seeing Luanne at Lukaro Salon and Spa for almost 3 years now and I will not let anyone else touch my hair! She is a genius with color and I always leave the salon with exactly what I want. Even the times I come in without an idea of what to do with my hair I can just tell her to use her magic, do what she thinks is best, and I can trust I’ll leave with something beautiful! She always cares for the health of your hair and makes sure her clients are completely satisfied before you leave the salon. Being an actress I can never make drastic changes to my hair because of my career. Luanne knows exactly how to change my color and clean up my cut so I leave feeling like I’ve got something new and special for me but won’t change my casting. She is truly amazing!

This is probably the worst-​run salon I have ever experienced!
Booking staff is inefficient and discourteous. Waiting is always part of ‘an appointment time’.
Salon on 2^nd floor so always hot in summer despite ac; cramped area.
Can’t speak for stylists other than Luke and Rona, but I just cannot understand the hype with regard to their abilities, more so pertaining to Rona. Too much ado about nothing special in terms of her color even for a simplistic color situation. In fact, her application for me was so unacceptable that I had to get my color redone.
Too much chattiness: I went there for expert hair styling, not to look for a best bud. I was expecting professionalism in ability and behavior but it really didn’t happen.
With so many options of hair salons/​stylists in that area, this one is definitely not preferable.

Lisa is fantastic! Professional through and through, really cares about what you want, and delivers. You will leave her chair with gorgeous hair. I actually cancelled my last appointment because my color was so perfect, there was not even a noticeable root after eight weeks. Somehow even my grays are less noticeable coming in. Sounds impossible, but it’s true. She really knows color!

I’ve been coming to Lukaro Salon for over twenty years and I don’t like going anywhere else. Luke and Rona are family to me. They treat everyone so well and are simply fun to be with, on top of their brilliance with hair color, cutting and styling.
Their assistants are always top notch — going through years of intimate training along side the pros. The support staff is awesome. They definitely know what they’re doing. That’s why so many celebrities work with them.
I don’t use any of the other services, so I can’t speak for that part of the business. The atmosphere though is beautiful. Like stepping into a Mediterranean luxury hideaway. Overall it can be pricey, but I don’t like to trust any other hair care and beauty pros. It’s definitely worth every penny.

I just had the best facial ever with Lana! She is incredible. My skin has never looked so good and I left feeling very relaxed and peaceful (which is hard to accomplish after a busy work day). I can’t wait to go back again. The salon is very beautiful inside with lots of natural sunlight. Very clean.

Elina did my hair color and she had her hands full. I had been getting highlights somewhere else and they were getting really out of hand. My head resembled a checker board. But Elina took the time to fix my base color with high lights and low lights.
It has now been over a month and I am still getting compliments.

Go to Joseph for extensions! He is amazing and is the only person you should ever consider when getting them. He can do every kind and explain your options! Thank you, Joseph! :)

Getting my hair done by Joseph was a wonderful experience. Not only is he brilliantly skilled, but he made me feel like a queen. My hair is curly and hard to manage but somehow he was able color, cut and style it beautifully. I don’t want anyone else to touch my hair but him! He is amazing!

Joseph is beyond amazing when it comes to hair! I have dark brown hair that I dye blonde. No one has ever been able to make it blonde without an orange tint. After one visit with Joseph, he transformed my hair! I have never received so many compliments and have never been happier. Not only is the color perfect, but my hair has never felt healthier! He will NOT disappoint.

Extremely versatile and dedicated to her art, Luanne is extremely thorough and committed to nothing but hair Excellence! She always goes the extra mile and is so amazing at creating beautiful, multidimensional gorgeous color and styles that last. It is rare these days to find a stylist like this. Tremendous talent and skill, i consider myself so lucky to have found her.

Not only does she get it, Luanne just NAILS IT every single time… A true artist in every capacity! Furthermore, I have never worked with a stylist who has such passion and talent for her craft, and truly cares about her work so much! Plus, she is a genuinely amazing person. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair!
As a natural brunette who had dyed my hair black, I now have platinum white blonde hair that looks amazingly healthy, has high shine and strength. Beautiful healthy blonde color and tone. She is a hair miracle worker!!!

I am the type of person who would cry after every haircut I got, and since moving to Southern California it has been impossible for me to find someone that I can trust to do a good job.
Lisa just gets it. She listens and knows what she’s doing. I have always played it safe with my hair but recently cut it down to a long bob and there is no one else who I would have trusted to do it. Not only is she amazing at her job, as people have already mentioned, she is 100% there for her client’s beck and call and is always so accommodating.
