Gama Central Heating & Air Conditioning

It’s New Year’s Eve and my heat goes out. It’s colder in my house than outside (which was 51 degrees at 9:00 am). I called several places, and no one could come out until next week because of the holiday. Gama to the rescue! The technician arrived within hours, and he diagnosed and fixed the problem for the cost of the service call. As an added bonus, he was very nice and professional, and even wiped his feet every time he came back into the house. Excellent customer service all the way around!

Gama did a great job installing a new central heating unit in my condo. Fast, professional and great price. Robert and his team are great.

My central heater stopped working and during the cold spell we could not wait for several days. I was fortunate enough to call Gama Central. Robert was extremely courteous. He suggested right away that it might be just an issue with a pilot and I would save a lot if I call my local gas company first for a free visit. When it turned out that the gas company serviceman is only available in a week I called back to Gama Central and their repairman Johnny came in a few hours. Johnny first diagnosed a faulty gas valve (that would cost me over $ 500), but he continued to work the unit until he was able to find a problem with a wiring which he was able to fix. I was charged only the service visit fee. I was very happy with professionalism and courtesy of Gama Central and based on my experience I would highly recommend this company.

Please be wary of this company! I was just quoted over $ 900 for a routine maintenance and minor repair and ended up paying $ 125 for the service call — all exorbitant amounts. Shop around as I should have — I am now finding well regarded companies are charging $ 45 – 65 for the service call and less than $ 150 for the maintenance! Buyer Beware!
