Great service and knowledgable pharmacist. I’m so tired of waiting in long lines at cvs and Walgreens … The attendants there take forever to bring up my information on computer and ask all my personal information for verification out loud. Not here. Here, everything is fast and polite and easy. I really appreciate this since I have an 18 month old and am pressed for time.

I’m rarely moved to write reviews of anything online, but I had to make an exception for David at Family Pharmacy. After years of dealing with CVS and other megachain pharmacies (who frequently could not fill my prescriptions without inexplicable delays or forcing me to resubmit my insurance information for the umpteenth time), I decided to give this place a shot (since I bike to work and it’s on my commute).
NIGHT. AND. DAY.
No obnoxious touch-​tone computerized menus to wade through or 10-​digit refill codes to punch in. Just a friendly pharmacist who knows you, will immediately refill your prescriptions, and will call you as soon as they are ready to pick up. I was so impressed that I suggested my fiancé switch as well, since she could never reliably refill her specific prescription at *any* CVS location (they would restrict how many days before it ran out she could request a refill and would often not even have it in stock when the time came, forcing her to sometimes go days on end without her medication).
Family Pharmacy changed all of that for her as well, refilling her prescription with no problems whatsoever, and now she’s never going to a major pharmacy again so long as she can help it. If you are laboring under the mistaken assumption that small pharmacy can’t be more efficient than a major chain, well, so was I. Think again. Then come here.

Family Pharmacy in BH is a place with great service, great prices and short wait times. I feel appreciated here as a customer. Try Family Pharmacy and you will NEVER go back to the large chain pharmacies!

I have been filling my prescriptions at Family Pharmacy for over three years and I highly recommend the pharmacy. They always have my prescription when other pharmacies are out of stock and David, the owner, fills my prescription in under ten minutes every time. He is very nice and personable and remembers his clientele.

I have used Family Pharmacy for several years now. David Newman and his staff are efficient, very friendly and go out of their way to make things easy for the customer. Good follow up, free RX delivery and very reasonable prices. Doing business with them is a delight. I highly recommend Family Pharmacy.

Great pharmacy. The owner David works everyday and is always very kind and helpful. I’ve been many times and he’s filled my prescription very fast while I wait. A great pharmacy to make your home pharmacy.

First off, the pharmacy portion of the business is ok. The fellow who runs that portion is helpful enough. Maybe a little snippy if you bring in coupons for prescriptions. Prices aren’t any different from Rite Aid/​CVS.
The optometry portion of the business however is a not great. I understand you are trying to make money by selling as much extra junk as you can. She’s very pushy when it comes to buying. I went in for prescription glasses (which by the way my current NEW optometrist stated I could easily survive with one pair to save money if I wanted) and was pressured heavily into buy 2 pair + prescription sunglasses. I stated I didn’t want anti-​reflective blah blah, because I knew the frames I wanted and knew the budget I had for the day. «You really need 2 pairs», she said over and over. «Please check out our sunglasses to get an idea of something you’d like». I was suckered into 2 pair of glasses. I didn’t want to drive all over the city and frankly I was wanting to get the he** out of there. I admit that’s my own fault for giving in. Finally after convincing her I didn’t want turbo charged-​super clean fuel burning-​outdoor sun tint for my lenses, I then said to hold off on part of the prescription, because I was short a few hundred dollars. Naturally I expected her to respond with, «Of course we’ll do the one for now and you can come back», but instead I got, «Well…how much do you have and when can you get the rest?» Seriously? She sounds like my bookie.
It didn’t help that she had a condescending look of superiority the whole time like, «uh come dead beat give me your money!»

Family Pharmacy has the best service. I has been to CVS and Rite Aid SO many times and Family Pharmacy has great parking and great service (as soon as you walk in «Welcome to Family Pharmacy!») and they have great prices better than any pharmacy I have ever been to. AND GUESS WHAT… FREE DELIVERY! This is the best Pharmacy I have ever been to and that YOU will ever go to. So please try it out and you will see, Family Pharmacy is a real Family and treats you exactly like one. I recommend Family Pharmacy in Beverly Hills to anyone and everyone!

This place was amazing! Owner is VERY nice and it was a great experience overall. There is also free parking right outside the pharmacy. Recommend this to anyone looking for a friendly, passionate pharmacist who cares about you. No wonder it is called «family pharmacy!»

This place is great! My prescription was $ 70 cheaper than Walgreens and the pharmacist even called me when it was ready! They have parking, it’s ceonveinabt to get to… Pharmacist is very friendly and informative too!

Wife will only go here for Rx. Owner is very helpful and the personalized service makes for a nice change in this modern world of commoditization.

I will never go to CVS or another pharmacy. The service is great and fast. The staff is personable and helpful. Picking up my prescription is no longer a big chore. Thanks Family Pharmacy!

awesome pharmacy! Free parking, nice people inside and the pharmacist was real knowledgable (he even helped me with my dog’s medicine). oh and they even offered delivery when i can’t pick up my stuff. Nice to have in these times when time is money.
Highly recommend it.
