Title: So Far So Good.
I’m a recent patient of Dr. Cohart’s, so I don’t have much to report, but one thing he did really impressed me and deserves mentioning. I selected Dr. Cohart when my insurance changed b/​c he shared an office suite, but not a practice, with my old GP. I figured this would make it easier for them to share records etc., and I was right. Met Dr. C for a general physical — was genuinely surprised when he called 2 weeks later saying that he’d been reviewing my records from my old doc and saw a test result that was borderline low. The test was 18 months old at that point (!), and my old Dr. never caught it or mentioned it to me.
Was truly amazed by that attention to detail for a new patient from a Dr. who is on the older side and who could be — but certainly doesn’t seem to be — phoning it in. To me that was a sign of genuine professionalism and of a well-​run practice and office.

Dr. Cohart was my first non-​pediatrician doctor (I had others when I moved to the east coast for a while) and he’s ruined me for all other health care providers. He is very smart, friendly, listens well, and always addresses all of my concerns. I would recommend him to anyone.
