If you’ve been to one, well… you know. We came for a registry purchase just before the holiday weekend… I won’t make that mistake twice. We had the registry on our phone but hadn’t actually checked in with the Registry Department to get the printout(they were already working with a couple and we didn’t know to wait)…I won’t make that mistake again either. We found what we were looking for(a small miracle) and paid, and then went to have the item taken off the registry which entailed us waiting in line to return said item and then repurchasing it under the registry’s code. The management was trying to be helpful but the whole trip was kind of a pain. I’m sure there’s a better way to do this? That said, it was the holidays and we should’ve checked in first thing. Parking is a little odd so remember to go to the back for easy convenient parking.

One of the better locations. The manager in this store is awesome! I wish I knew his name, but he is always there when I go in and is very helpful and friendly. I’ve been in during very busy times when the staff has become frazzled and he seems very good at remaining calm and putting everyone at ease. The cashiers are usually very helpful and friendly as well.

This is one if my favorite stores but I visited this particular location on Southfield road. Please be aware that this location is really a «Bed, Bath». The Beyond is not here such as cosmetics, shampoo, hair stuff and all the other fun stuff to look at. On the plus side, the staff are as friendly and as helpful as always.

This store is a HOTMESS. I made the mistake of parking in the front of the building, closest to the road. I was thinking huh, that’s a little strange, such a small parking lot for such a big store. Oh yeah, that’s because the entrance is in the back.(smacks forehead). That should have been a clear sign of what was to come. It took me forever to find anything from a huge and unfulfilled registry. What was supposed to take me 30 minutes at best, took me an hour… to just find a dang item. I even had the help of an assistant. Sweet little thing, she apologized profusely for something that was totally not her fault. Items would say there were available in the computer but would be missing in the store. Maybe it’s this corner, no wait that brand is split up into two different areas in the store. Or maybe it’s behind the banner, let me climb up the ladder and see if it is. Nope. No where to be found. The displays? Dusty. Glasses were foggy. Yuck. GETYOURACTTOGETHERBBB. I will NEVEREVEREVER come back to this location again even if it’s close to my work. I felt like I could get lost forever in here. But to that kindhearted customer service rep? Thank you for taking the time to help me, when it seemed like half the customers in your store needed assistance. For your help, I give you 5 stars. But for your place of employment, 1 star is a generous rating.

Seamless transaction over the phone. Hopefully I remembered her name correctly. I believe it was Lisa who took my call and she was very helpful. Purpose of my call was to inquire about whether or not their 20% off coupon applied to a specific item, which it did. Without me asking her, she offered to order that item for me and deliver to my house at no charge. Made my decision to purchase that much easier. I will be receiving the item in the next week. Much better customer service at Bed Bath compared to Best Buy. I made a promise in my last post that I will never shop at Best Buy anymore because of the horrible customer service that I received.

Hi everybody I was just in Bed Bath & Beyond not long ago and everyone was helpful I really enjoyed shopping there. I never had to chase anyone down to ask a question. Let me quote Old School: «Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we’re going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don’t know, I don’t know if we’ll have enough time.» That is how I feel about BB&B. Its one of those stops that’s is squeezed into a jam-packed day of errands. I try(try being the operative word) to make it in and out within a relatively normal length of time. Do I always succeed? No, but I do try! Most BB&B locations I find to be very similar… the selection, the layout, staff attitude. I had to run into this particular one for a quick return. The store, which looks like its hidden from Southfield Rd, seemed smaller than others. I quickly ran in to make my return at the customer service desk. This is where shit gets real. The people I talked to? Ummm, they were the most genuinely nicest BB&B employees I ever have encountered. And I mean nice, like they actually want to help me and they actually like being there and helping customers(shocker in today’s world of retail hell). I quickly made my return and the ladies at the service desk even helped me find a product that might work better for me. I remember thinking, «Wow! Those are some nice ladies.» Well, thanks girls! You’re location definitely has one new happy customer.

I’m a fan of BB&B in general, and this location is my favorite. It’s VERY easy to miss from Southfield Road, as it’s tucked back from the street and you think you’re turning into Beverly Hills Grille. One of my favorite things about this location… it’s NEVER super-busy. I visited in a state of last-minute desperation on Christmas Eve a couple of years ago, and was in and out ridiculously fast. There’s oodles of parking front, side, and back, and the prices aren’t bad ATALL especially if you have their 20% off coupon… which can be applied to sale items as well, AND they take expired coupons! Win and win! I’ve gotten some utterly amazing deals prowling over their clearance/broken stuff sections… they mark on the price tag what’s wrong with the item(if it’s broken) and then mark it down to an awesomely ridiculous low price. If you’re handy at fixing things or don’t care about some cosmetic ding, you can really score. Best stuff in general to get here: Yankee Candles(at least two scents are always on sale AND you can use a coupon!), Sonicare replacement heads(again, use the coupon!) and just about anything off the fun Wall o’ As Seen on TV! Only docked a star because there’s a pretty extensive list of things you CAN’T use the 20% coupon on… Dyson, Tempurpedic, and other similar $$$ items.

I only happened upon this store by chance. Even my mom who lives nearby didn’t know it was here. The front entrance isn’t facing Southfield Road which is where you enter from. It faces the Beverly Hills Grill. Upon entering, it is just like all the other BB&Bs. It wasn’t very busy this New Years Eve afternoon. I found exactly what I was looking for — a mini bundt cake pan. It was near the entrance too! I didn’t have to go looking all over to find it. My mom got what she was looking for too — a runner for her hallway. It was $ 89.00, but thanks to their ever present 20% coupons that frequent everyone’s mailboxes she saved $ 18.00. I was more pleased with my $ 5.00 off and got the pan that no one else seemed to carry, not even Williams Sonoma. Now I can bake my lemon poppy seed bundt cakes for all my friends to enjoy in the New Year!
