I didn’t actually get my nails done here, so for all I know they could be the best nail place in Bettendorf. I am visiting from CA and this place was close by, so I stopped to see if they had availability. After we discussed what services I would like, she told be to come back in 20 minutes and then changed it to 3:20 (at the time it was 2:56…pretty much the same 20 minutes or 3:20). She asked for my name and then repeated the 3:20 time. As I left I said «I’ll be back at 3:20». When I arrived she acted as if she had never saw me and told me she would have time in 20 minutes. I was very confused and explained I was just here and was told 20 minutes. She told me she said 4:00. She clearly never said 4:00, but made me feel like I had messed up. If you are going to give a customer a time to come back, I feel you should honor that time and remember what you told them. Nail salons are a dime a dozen, so I personally wouldn’t give this place my business when there are 10 other nail salons within a 5 mile radius.

I needed to remove the shellac polish from over the holidays and decided I’d get a French manicure too. Crystal Nails was conveniently located near my errands for the day so I stopped inside. The workers are not the most professional — texting while working on my nails — but they did a great job! The salon is also very clean. It was $ 30 to remove my shellac and get a French manicure so I think that is very reasonable!

Myself and several of my friends used to be loyal customers here. We have all been disappointed recently with the quality of services and lack of professionalism from some of the staff. It’s really a shame, because it is conveniently located and the owner is a nice person– but business is business and I am now moving on. Hopefully they can turn it around, but I’m tired of paying for a service that is less than ideal.

I booked an appointment for me and my bridesmaids after seeing such good reviews on here. I was not disappointed! All the ladies were super friendly and did an excellent job. I called ahead and made an appointment since I knew I’d have a few people, and they were ready for us when we got there! I did a shellac French tip, and they’re still going strong 3 weeks later :-) Wonderful place with wonderful staff, and reasonable prices.
Looking forward to my next Quad Cities visit so I can stop in again!

I’m from out of town and normally go to the same salon every time I get my nails done because I know they do a good job and I get nervous going anywhere else. I read the other reviews on this place and decided to trust them, and I’m glad I did! I got a perfect French manicure. Usually I find a few mistakes on a manicure but this one is flawless! And it was cheaper than my old salon. No wait to get in either. I will definitely come back here in the future.

Did an amazing job with my eyebrows. Gave it a really nice shape that fit my facial features. Very satisfying!

I definitely don’t do this enough. In fact, sadly this may be my first review. But Crystal Nails deserves getting this feedback on Unilocal because of their amazing quality and top notch customer service. I came in with my sister and niece without an apt to get nails and toes right before close on July 4^th. They were not only willing to take care of all of us but insisted. After 3 manis and pedis, they were adamant on changing my toe nail color because they could tell I didn’t love it. I don’t live here but every time I visit the family, I will undoubtably stop here. I highly recommend coming here if you like the best quality product and service for a very reasonable price.

I went here for a manicure and spa pedicure here with my daughter. Inside, we found four spa pedicure chairs and four manicure chairs. They had four people working, and when the traffic started to pick up, they called for backup and another worker came in.
The place seemed clean, and the people working were nice. They seemed to already have a few «regulars», who they recognized right away and greeted like old friends.
I can safely say that my french gel manicure is the most well-​done I have ever had. The attention to detail on the application of each coat of the gels was impressive, and I think they really did a better job on the gels than I’ve ever seen. Usually by day three, I can perceive some peeling of the gel polish at the corners of my nails. Often, since I favor the french manicure, I can also see imperfections in the transition to the white tips. In this case, after a full week, there was no peeling at all, and the transition from clear to white tips is perfect.
They now have personal gel dryers with timers. I like those a lot more than the ones they had before because I think my fingers got a lot less UV exposure that way.
After the additional charge for gels and the french tips, the total per person before tax and tip was $ 55.

I needed a last minute pedicure and randomly ended up at Crystals Nails. I walked in a little apprehensive, you never know what you get at a nail salon. The staff was very friendly, the salon was very clean with a nice atmosphere. Olive did my pedicure and she was great! Very gentle and took great care with all the details. And the little massage was just wonderful. I will definitely be back I had such a wonderful experience.
