When I die I want my ashes spread on the floor of Susan’s to soak up the urine and vomit of the old tyme drunks that frequent this hallowed space, one of the greatest drinking establishments in the world. Anyone taking the time to write a negative Unilocal review about Susan’s Pub should be publicly shamed, for how could one possibly not fun have fun at a place where the beers are 75 cents?
Home of the 75 cent tap beer… well only till 10pm now and it’s only about an 8oz glass but it really matters not. Pitchers are $ 5 and the beer in question is Busch. In all honesty, the beer is pretty good and is always fresh. The taps are clean and I’ve never had a skunked tap beer from this place, ever.
Susan’s Pub is a real weird place, right next to the tracks and sitting under a tenement building… there’s a bottle of sloe gin under the bar which hasn’t moved in about 15 years.
But this is the way we like it.

Susan’s Pub is not fun. plain and simple.
It’s a dive bar /​hole in the wall which I like at times, but I feel like I’m going to fall asleep the couple of times I went.
This place maybe fun when you’re underage and in high school because it’s pretty easy to get in and they have 75 cent pints of Busch Light.
What’s also weird about his place is that while we went twice, two other times we went (around the same time) the door was locked. When we knocked, someone inside said they were closed. I guess they pick and choose when they want to open.
In all fairness, I went more than once because I was underage and it was cheap (when you’re in high school you are just happy to get into any bar).

what can i say? i love this bar. It’s a local bar, nothing fancy. Great deals on drinks and they have bbqs and stuff during the summer. It’s perfect for those days when ya just wanna kick back and have a drink low key. They also have a cool old school jukebox with some good selections.

This place had a deal for 75 cent pints of Busch Light. They ran out of pint size cups.
Older crowd. Very much a local joint hole in the wall kind of feeling.
I was with a group of 10 – 12 so we obviously had fun regardless but it is nothing special.
They have a pool table. Thats really all I can say
