I can’t make this up. I was scheduled with Dr. Hitscherich Jan 12 2015 Monday morning for the actual Colonoscopy procedure and I was called by his assitant Rita, that the nurse wasn’t able to make it and there was no backup. They cancelled the procedure along with 7 other patients. If you have prepared for this test then you are fully aware of how bad that call is. If you have not prepared for this exam, believe me its not a test that you want to practice for. I even asked for my $ 20 co-​pay back and they didn’t even have the decency to return my money. Debra the office manager said she would get me a new MOVI prep for free from the manufacture rep… whoopty do… stay away from these people. Now I have to go else where and retake this whole stinkin test.

Long Island doctors just don’t care anymore. They are in a hurry to give you prescriptions and send you out the door. Not interested in helping or following up. When we told them that we would no longer was going here, they sent a letter to excuse him from the entire practice. Even canceling an appointment 2 days before an appointment with one of the other doctors. It’s all about $$$. I will be contacting our insurance company and letting them know and everyone I know as well. So unprofessional. If anyone has a PCP that actually is interested in helping people, let me know. The doctors at this clinic do not.
