Worst experience ever!!! Tried to send a pre paid fed package and it was never picked up. Fed ex confirmed that they indeed didn’t pick up the box and to call the drop center. The owner sheepishly told me that he didn’t pay fed ex ground and so they stopped picking up. I was furious!!! He should have told me it wasn’t going anywhere from the start, I only went their because of the convenience. Thankfully, after my insistence, he took the package to the fed ex office. Sadly it’s my sons computer for school(repair) and now he may not have it fir the start. Don’t bother… Seems like he is slowly letting the business go! Do yourself a favor and take the package directly to fed ex. Also complained to Fed Ex, this store needs to be removed as an authorized sender.

Not a lot of urgency at this location. They could not find a package I dropped off at this location to ship to UPS. Using my tracking number, I discovered it had not been entered into the system at this location. Their sense of urgency in resolving this lost package was simply non-existent. On my next visit to the location a note on the door read,“At the bank, back in an hour.” If you want casual, this is your spot.

They are planning to close and haven’t notified the people paying for mailboxes there. Now we incur the costs of reprinting all our business cards, brochures, letterhead not to mention websites. Plus when are they going to tell us.

Not sure why my husband’s and my unfavorable posts were filtered? Perhaps owners are flagging? My husband and I tried to use The Mail Connection between Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays in 2011 to ship two prepaid UPS boxes. While the perfectly-nice clerk was processing our boxes, the owner came out, yelling that our boxes needed to be set aside, and that the paying customers need to be taken care of first. We had to ask for our boxes back, as we did not trust the store to handle the prepaid boxes after this outburst. You can be sure we will never be paying customers of The Mail Connection again. We talked to some local people about our recent experience. The consensus was that this used to be a great place under the old owner, but that service under this new owner was intolerable. If you want to take a chance with your mail, go ahead and use The Mail Connection. If you have prepaid UPS boxes, please consider using the UPS center directly: UPS Customer Center, STAFFEDLOCATION, 2301HIGHLANDAVE, BETHLEHEM, PA18020, 800−742−5877. If you prefer to be yelled at in front of other customers, try the Mail Connection. UPDATE12/21/2012: Looks like the Mail Connection has responded to my review almost a year later, claiming that we cut in line? We absolutely did not, and I’m sure they«remembered» that about a year later. Just, wow.

What a find! Being a Bethlehem native all my life for years I have waited in lines during the Christmas season at UPS/FedEx/and the Post Office for hours. This year I stumbled upon a store called the Mail Connection that offers the same shipping services at a comparable if not lower rate! Much to my suprise I walked into a beautiful store and was greeted by staff that offered to help me with my packages from the car. After three gentleman helped pack and ship my gifts in less time than it took me even to drive them there I was out of the store in no longer than 15 minutes. I highly reccomend the Mail Connection to anyone in the area as I think that you will find that you as I will be highly suprised with the exceptional services and customer service they offer!

I’ve spent too many afternoons at this location, between 4 and 5 pm, dropping off packages for work that just must go out that evening. With a 1 pm pick up at the office, it’s handy having them just a mile down the road for drop-offs. It’s always the same guy at the counter. He’s always very friendly. I’m not sure if he makes any money as a pick up location, but he treats me just like any other paying customer, so I hope he does get paid! The only time I’ve really waited in line was during the holiday season. He did have a second set of hands, but with unprepared customers, a line is just going to form. If you need to do UPS/FedEx, or need a mail box, or any packaging materials, stop by their little store. They are good people!
