An interesting little dive of a local grocery store. They do have the majority of things that a store like a Weis or Redners would have, although you likely will have to ask where things are the first time there as there is no order to the store’s layout. The upside is that if you are local it’s nice to have somewhere quick to walk to that doesn’t require wasting more gas to go to a store farther away. The downsides are that the prices are not grocery store competitive, especially grocery store sale price competitive, and if you look hard enough you will almost always find something rotting on a shelf past it’s expiration date. (Yogurt, fruit, and peanut butter are three that I’ve seen personally more than once.) And also watch out for their price switcheroo. They love to have old sale prices listed that they never take down and then when you go to pay you find out that the six pack of A-Treat soda you bought is actually more than the advertised sale sign because they just never took down the sign but they will not honor the«advertised» price. Sim’s is a nice little store if you know the quirks.
