Last night, BF and I went to the Cyndi Lauper/Boy George concert. It was easy to get in(twhs). Cyndi was amazing(as usual) but I feel that her vocals were not loud enough. I could hear myself sing, which I’m sure nobody wanted to hear. Seating was good — Spacious enough that I didn’t feel like a sardine. Drinks and snacks were available for purchase. Overall, very nice venue. ****(If they would have turned up Cyndis vocals, it would have been 5 stars.)

This review is tough because I like the VENUE itself BUT getting into the venue is the worst experience I have ever had. I have been here for 5 shows I believe 2 of them I did not have a serious problem, 1 was ok but the other 2 were HORRIBLE! The worst one being the last one… Megadeth. It took me over 45 minutes to get in the venue from the outside entrance. Two lines that were beyond slow! I complained to a manager & was told they had 3 lines you could enter from the inside as well but I told him the hotel was turning people away from entering in that way. I guess there is a another entrance from the mall which had 3 lines but there is no signage in the parking lot telling you that. I missed 2 bands completely & barely made it in to see the third band. The manager also tried to blame the band because they were late with something but still started on time. Not my problem. I went to the Big 4 show at Yankee Stadium & got into that show quicker than this last experience. Once in the venue is good. Prices are not ridiculous but it can be hard to get a drink at the main bar. There are other beer vendors walking around and at least 3 other beverage areas and a few places to get food. The sound here is usually very good, but the Megadeth show had a bad mix in my opinion. I felt the lead locals needed to be louder. I also like this venue because it is not too far from my house & parking is actually free. I could have driven down to Philly to see this same show at the Electric Factory and paid a little more for the tickets & paid to park but I bet I would have had a better experience I’m sure. I am not giving up on this venue yet but they really need to do a better job of getting people inside to see the show. I shouldn’t have had to miss 2 bands completely.

this place is HUGE. From what i understand its a casino, hotel, parking deck, resort, nightclub, and concert arena. i was here to see The Wonder Years and The Story So Far and 2000 people came to fill up the concert arena. Its immaculate on the inside. extremely high quality equipment. You really get the feeling like this is a festival when theres a show here.

Drove here from Virginia to catch The Used & Taking Back Sunday on tour. The place is gorgeously maintained and hard to miss-there is a huge converted bridge sign right over the resort. Our gps took us to the casino side and we easily found parking in the garage. We were then able to walk through the casino to the event center. Drinks were priced very reasonably and the one hotdog we did get was huge. Bathrooms were clean and security did a great job. Entering the venue went very smoothly. Once the show was over we made our way back to the casino… Only to be blocked by security along with with all of the other fans. We are over 21 so we weren’t too worried, until we heard that we may be charged to get into the casino… wait, what? After hearing that, and adding to the fact that we were exhausted, we decided to walk around the building back to the garage(which wasn’t a short walk, might I add) so for that, I only give them 3 stars. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful place to enjoy your night. Newbies might benefit from parking in the lot adjacent to the ACTUAL event center rather than the big parking lot. We enjoyed our night!
